We stopped while walking the River Walk in Conway. Great view, great food and great service! What more could you want!!

Can only comment on the setting which is unique and worth the trip and ambiance of the restaurant. Was there visiting and I was doing a walking self guided tour. Was too early for dinner and too late for a lunch when breakfast was just past. I wandered the riverwalk for a while and then stopped for a rest and beer. Really wish it would have turned out for me to return for dinner, but it didn't. The BBQ and smoker smelled awesome. Sat outside and bought a beer to enjoy the setting, with just an order of onion rings for a snack. Hopeful to return on a different vacation.

We initially went to this restaurant because it was within walking distance from the Cypress Inn which was where we were staying for two nights. As we walked up, we smelled the fragrance of the wood fire, a definite plus. My husband and I ate here on Thursday, and we enjoyed it so much we returned for dinner on Friday. We chose to dine outside beside the river. The atmosphere was amazing. We loved the view of the river and watching the boats ride by as we enjoyed the music that was playing in the background. The string lights hanging from the rafters added ambiance as the sun was going down. The first night I ordered a salad with grilled pineapple and my husband ordered catfish and both were delicious. The second night my husband ordered a half chicken, macaroni and piggy rice (yes, that’s what it’s called, lol), while I ordered pulled pork, sweet potato fries and collared greens. All items were delicious once again. The prices were very reasonable! The quality of the food along with the atmosphere made both dinners very enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!

Our experience was absolutely incredible! The ribs were tender and full of flavor! The Cuban was melt in your mouth! The kickin chicken sandwich was amazing! We enjoyed the different flavors of the Trio appetizer and Bonfire Shrimp! The homemade banana pudding and s’mores pie were the perfect dessert! Melanie was kind and extremely knowledgeable about everything from the bar drinks to the entrees! Looking forward to trying out more of this menu!

Went with family on Mother's day and lunch today! Food is amazing, from appetizers, tacos and BBQ entrées. Has become our favorite in Conway! Service was also awesome!

This little gem is tucked under a bridge and sits right on the water! Walking up you immediately smell the meats being smoked and it draws you in. We went on a busy Saturday afternoon and our wait was minimal, peach cosmo was amazingly refreshing and I am not a Jim Beam drinker. I had a casserole off the brunch menu and my friends tried one of the burgers and the sandwiches. We are already planning our return visit! Good food, great atmosphere, and an overall hidden gem.

Our first visit to Bonfire A Smokin’ Taqueria was a success. We ordered drinks and Chips n Queso to start. Wow!! Is their queso super tasty? For entrees we ordered the Smokey Joe sandwich with sweet potato fries and the Pulled Pork sandwich with smoked potato salad. The Smokey Joe is filled with smoked chicken, onions, and peppers. The Pulled Pork has slaw and awesome pickles on the sandwich. The smoked potato salad is so different n sooo good. All the food was great and Tammy, our server, was very, very helpful and attentive. We will return.

My wife and I went here for lunch, and enjoyed the deck and several of the taco options. One, in particular, wrapped a hot dog in a flour tortilla, along with seasoned beef, mustard sauce and onions. It was guilty-good. Minor flaw is that the service was a tad slow, but all in all, fine overall.

Went to bonfire a week ago, sat 28th, sat at the bar. Great vibe, food looked really good. Fast forward to this Saturday the 25th/afternoon, tried to make a reservation for a party of 6. Nope, no can do according to the staff member that answered the phone. No reservations taken on the day of. She said it was a slow rainy day, so chances are we could get in. I booked a reservation down the street with an establishment that actually wants my business.

Cute restaurant on the river. Reasonable prices and something for everyone on the menu! Food was delicious - read previous review complaining about the mac and cheese, however, 3 in my party ordered it and we all enjoyed it. Everything was hot and fresh and server was very quick and friendly. Will definitely go back next time in town!

We checked in with a “15min” wait for outdoor seating so we sat at the bar waiting on the table. The 15 minutes turned into 42 minutes as we watched other guests come in, ask about seating and we’re immediately sat in the very section we were waiting for. When we finally got our table, it was 20 minutes before we were asked what we would like to drink. Noted: It wasn’t busy. When ordering our drinks, we put in for the “trio” app. The chips were stale and inedible. The cheese dip was definitely from previous days. It took 35 minutes to get chips and pre-made dip. Again, not busy. When our entrees came out, the ribs were so tough that you couldn’t pull them apart with your hands, much less bite into them. Definitely not falling off the bone nor tender in any way. The fried catfish was served raw and a wet battered mess. The cook had the fryer too hot making for undercooked food to be served. You could clearly taste how old the fryer grease was. Needless to say, 2 hrs into our meal and just receiving our food, several entrees were returned for the item to be removed from our bill. We simply didn’t have another 2 hrs to wait for a re-fire. One of our guests did ask for her meal to be replaced. It took 37 minutes to come back worse than before. The mac & cheese smelled several days old and served so thick, powdery and tacky that it wouldn’t come off the plate. I could keep going but it would take as long as it took to not be able to eat here. We waited an entire Sunday afternoon to eat here and left hungry. We were extremely disappointed. The “edible” food was very basic w/o any flavor whatsoever. It’s like it’s purchased in a tub and slapped on a plate. Lettuce for tacos was brown. Don’t waste an afternoon nor a dollar on this establishment. It’s just not worth it. Take your family elsewhere. Your family deserves a great meal, great service and a great time. Unfortunately you nor they will experience that at Bonfire Taqueria.

Was visiting my 95 year old mother who doesn't eat much. We had strolled the Riverwalk and decided to eat at Bonfire as it was right on the river. We were lucky to get a seat on the deck. Since Mom doesn't eat much we ordered the double bacon cheeseburger to split and an order of onion rings. HUGE burger! and cooked perfectly. The beer battered onion rings were the size of tires (LOL) Delicious. We took half of it home, because our waitress Taylor, told us how good the S'more Pie was. Again, we ordered one piece to split. It was the largest piece of pie I've ever seen. Made with marshmallow creme, graham cracker crust, chocolate sauce and mini marshmallows on top that were charred just a little. Just like a toasted marshmallow. We ate the whole thing. While we were there, we watched numerous boats coming up the river. Very enjoyable lunch.

Went with husband and another couple on a Saturday night. Service was painfully slow, drinks were overpriced, and food was mediocre, at best. It didn't look crowded at all, but I think there was a Graduation party outside, so that might be why service was slow and food wasn't that great.

My friends and I go to Bonfire all the time, the food is great and all of the staff is so kind and welcoming. I definitely recommend the fried pickles and any of their tacos.
