I stopped by for a quick lunch and what a great surprise! Service was excellent and food was delicious! I also enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere is very unique. Definitely recommend

The place seen nice my group was Africa American the waiter was very nice and helpful explaining the food and drinks menu the food was very good. One of the manager was walking around the whole time we were in the restaurant talking to all of the customers all were caucasian we sat for about 1and a 1/2 hrs we had a meal and cocktails the manager never not one time came to my table did not ask the 4 of us nothing and we did let the waiter know that it was very noticeable how he went to all the tables and never came to our table. Then when we got ready to leave, he hollowed out all the way across the floor have a Good night because the waiter said something to him because we let her know we felt that.the bill was healthy and left a great tip treat all people the same nothing wrong with that we were very respectful lady's all 60th and up stop being so prejudice.

My wife and I decided to dine in for our anniversary and it was a great experience. Firstly our server Matt was phenomenal. He was a guide through our experience. I had their double oak fashioned as well as dinner. My wife got a peach salad with steak bites and I had a filet and everything was prepared perfectly. Great job by the whole staff, extra props for Matt! Will be definetly be back!

I had dinner with a friend tonight at the Crooked Oak Tavern. Our food was excellent and our server, Patty, was as well. We both ordered the crab cakes since we were told the crab meat was directly from Maryland. Best crab cakes ever! I had the mashed potatoes and summer squash with my crab cakes and the squash was perfectly cooked and delicious.

Our 1st Happy Hour today at The Crooked Oak Tavern was very enjoyable! Our bartender, Jeff was outstanding! Jeff offered excellent customer service, was friendly, knowledgeable of drink & food menus, and has some awesome mixology skills!

Tony!!!! What can’t I say about this guy. He’s super friendly, genuine and gave us so many awesome suggestions. I got the red deer! You could tell he enjoyed his job and my husband loved the buttery nipples he brought back ;)

I had been wanting an All-American Burger. So I ordered one for lunch as I entered International Drive from 31. Was transferred to the bar on first phone call and never got an answer. Took me three more phone calls to get in touch with the front for them to transfer me again. Was told 10 or 15 minutes for order to be ready. I arrived at exactly 15 minutes later by chance. Not only did I feel like the Wendy's commercial is Where's the beef? But my meal was cooked overdone and was cold. Last time I got a burger it was still cold in the middle this one was overcooked and half the size of the bun not to mention everything was cold and hard. And it was ordered as a cheeseburger had no cheese. I used to really enjoy these Burgers but I don't think I will ever order from Crooked Oak again. And I also feel like I have betrayed my friends because I had been telling everyone that they had the best burger in Horry County. Maybe there's new owners our new management either way I will not patronize this establishment any longer. And it was 3 in the afternoon not even busy.
I thoroughly enjoyed my pork chop while my wife ordered the ostrich special. The ostrich was out of this world delicious. We finished the meal with bread pudding, which was some of the best that I've had, still a bit moist in the center, with craft ice cream.

So this review is pretty overdue. Forgive me Tony. We went to Myrtle Beach for the start of our vacation and saw this restaurant on a facebook video something like 2023. The video was of a food challenge with a giant steak and crab-cakes. I said we need to get dinner there. Now I do not eat seafood so I did not partake in the challenge.(they do still have it) instead we took our party of 4 adults and 2 children. We did not call ahead we were seated and waited on immediately as if we were cousins or other close family. Tony came out with that southern hospitality you always hear about. What a guy that Tony, I wish I was his family. He gave us table side service and made great recommendations on food and drinks. The food was absolutely incredible. The bar selection is amazing. We spent the remainder of our vacation trying to find fried green tomatoes that could hold a candle to the crooked oak’s and could not!!! Anyway Tony, I hope you read this and just shout, Vacation!!!! Thank you for an unforgettable experience and being our family away from home. We will be back soon!

I liked the food and thought that the normal burger was tasty and great. I appreciated the veggies on it and think the sauce contrasted well while bringing it all together. The fries were good but could use quite a bit more salt. The service was very good and I enjoyed the southern accent and his hospitality. Definitely a fun spot and neat decor.
