I ate at Dons today for the first time and ate the Ruben. First of all let me say it was delicious but the portion was phenomenal. I liked it so much that on my way home I ordered the French dip and the pastrami on rye for supper and lunch tomorrow. I will never go anywhere else for a sandwich in the grand strand. I have never seen a sandwhich this big outside of New York or Pittsburgh. If you do not stop you are letting yourself and any family members who enjoy a true deli sandwich down. There is not a deli around that can even come close to this sandwhich artistry. Got the Dons deli sandwich! Delicious! Packed so full and high. Comes with 1 side and a drink. People were very nice and friendly. Cakes in the display cases looked beautiful. I will try a slice next time. They also serve ice cream. You must try the food there!

The sandwich was the size I thought: one half had so much meat I could barely hold it with one hand and it was definitely a challenge to open my mouth wide enough to take a bite. All good problems when it comes to food!?

All I can say is this place is amazing for a deli. Sandwiches, sides,and desserts are amazing. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Definitely need to try this place. Good variety of deli Sandwiches. Sorry I waited so long to give this place a try, now I go back at least once a week.
We go to get deli which is Boars Head, the only sliced deli we get. We use to travel down 501 to Myrtle Beach to Kroger but now Dons Deli 3 miles

Finally tried Don's deli and I was not disappointed. The food was fast, delicious, and the sandwiches are enormous. Brought my toddler with me and the staff was super sweet to her. If your looking for amazing food in a hurry Don's got you.
This is my new favorite place to get a sandwich. I got it to go but it's so delicious and so big that I'm going to wait till I get back to the office because I need to take my time with it. The potato salad is delicious also!! I will be back tomorrow definitely
