Typical authentic Mexican restaurant...good food...good service...sooner or later a mexican restaurant is going to have to spice up the atmosphere...still very good in the Beckley area...worth the stop.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and low paved entry

Food was good, was a little noisy, prices were fairly reasonable, and the staff could have been friendlier,,but it could have been a bad night,I will try one more time before making a final judgement

We went to this restaurant, food ok. I had a El Cerro valpak coupon for $4 off $30, which we qualified for. They would NOT accept because it was not their address on the coupon. Wow.Also, refried beans were sour. They brought another bowl, but from the same batch! Still would not give discount. We are new here, we eat Mexican food at least once a week. Management, y’all just lost a ton of repeat business because you’re so greedy!

I went into today to place an order and the lady kept acting as if she didn’t want to deal with me because I was poor . I could tell she had a place in management. She kept taking others orders while I waited patiently . I did ask about the difference between their chicken burrito and their chicken chimichanga and she looked as if she was getting annoyed by my question.i ordered the burrito. My 82 year old momma and me went to Walmart and when I came back to pick up my order I told her I went to Walmart and how busy they were and she laughed it off . I asked about my order and she said it’s over there and I see a bag sitting by itself on a table by the door not on the counter where all the other take out orders were . I asked why is my bag sitting on the bench over there . She said so they don’t get mixed up . If they could keep the other orders right why couldn’t mine be over there with them ? My order was left on a bench by the door for anyone to handle . I took it and said thank you but the way I was treated by them after placing other orders in the past with them even being a poor person was so disrespectful. Also there was a young girl there that remembered me and she was happy to see me and was smiling at me and even she looked as if she was confused why my bag was separate from the others . I will never do business with this location ever again! That one woman made me feel like scum just because I wasn’t dressed up but she was happy to take my money for poor service she did herself . I will take my business to other locations for their business because I enjoy the food but never the Conway location again . That woman was very horrible to me and I never want to see her again. I may not have alot in my life money wise but I chose to spend my hard earned money with them a few times and to get treated that way by her made me feel really low . She has sparkling eyes and this fake smile that goes on for days and she speaks to you as if she above you in this fake tone . she is in her late forties or mid fifties. this is lady I am referring to. She has a bad presence around her and she is very fake . I don’t know her name but her face I will always remember and I don’t want to see it again. I have no complaints with the other staff just how this lady treated me but because of her I will never go here again.

The restaurant had great atmosphere and service. My vegetable quesadilla was the best I've ever had, it was so delicious. Love the variety of vegetables and the little side salad that included mango.

Like my mom told me their food at El Cerro is just okay. It is not authentic by any means, and it lacks a lot. It left me wanting a lot more than we got. We shared the chicken and beef fajitas for two. One positive is that it came with a lot of meat, peppers, and onions. We had tona of leftovers that could've easily made two more meals. Also, the beans were super hearty and had a nice thick topping of cheese. The chips and salsa were good, with the salsa on the thicker side, which I like. The negative was just the flavor, not a lot of spice or umph to it. The meat was very dry, like it had been left ln the grill for way too long, and it was barely hanging on. I think that if the meat was less overcooked and the flavor could just step up a little bit it I think it would make a huge difference in the taste. It didn't satisfy Mt craving for Mexican food at all; so I am on the hunt again!

Fajitas - Very Disappointing My daughter and I dined at the Conway El Cerro on March 3rd at ~ 8 PM. I realize that my expectations of the food served at Mexican restaurants be a bit higher than most being a native of Los Angeles, but the Fajitas served to us on Sunday were a royal disappointment. They were 'not' brought to the table sizzling with the delicious smells of char-grilled steak, chicken and vegetables. Instead, the contents in the small skillet appeared to have been stir-fried and worse? Contained little-to-no seasoning - the steak and the chicken actually tasted as if it had been boiled in water. Now, I've dined at this particular El Cerro Grande two before - had a standard lunch combo of three (3) shredded chicken tacos, rice and black beans. It was good; the shredded chicken had cleared been cooked with seasonings. Perhaps the Cook was having a off-day on Sunday or, really just wanted to quickly wrap things up as closing time was approaching. Either way, there is no excuse for Fajitas tasting this way. I won't be ordering them again.
