Most of the food served here could be a whole lot better. More often than not it’s cold by the time I sit down as well because all the stations for different items are so spread out. There have been multiple times where the stations for different meals were left unattended and not stocked with utensils or food. I’ve seen employees in one big group talking and gossiping with each other not doing their job multiple times as well. Overall the quality of food and service needs large improvements. If it wasn’t my only choice for food because I’m not allowed anything to cook with in my dorm other than a microwave, I wouldn’t eat there.

Hicks is great if you have a meal plan, otherwise I’m not sure if it’s entirely worth it unless you plan on staying a while. There are many food stations that rotate their selections, and there are a couple of stations that offer items daily such as hamburgers, pizza, and salad. Overall, I have really enjoyed eating at Hicks over these past few years. Pictures attached are actually from Finals Frenzy which is a free event every semester that students can go to for unique appetizer-like foods.
