I used to love this place and went every week. Will never go again due to poor service, a very rude cook. I got sick the day afterwards from the food. There are better places to go for 28$!

Raised prices for the all you can eat menu. Pieces cut smaller on sashimi but that doesn't matter as it was fresh. What pissed me off was the nerve of not giving me correct change. According to my receipt my change should have been $10.31. I RECEIVED $10.00 no waitress in site. It's not the $.31! It's the priciple. If I didn't PAY them the correct amount, what would happen? If I paid by credit card, there would be a 4% charge for it's use.

Food is great but the policy of separating parties by all you can eat from those off the menu is poor ! Losing business for sure

ichiban more like ichimid, for an all you can eat place the portions are small and the service gets real slow after your first entree. If you want hibachi or sushi just buy individually instead.
Waiter was on top of it, props to her, and the food was absolutely on point! Delicious, lots of options. We purchased all you can eat and we had so much fun trying different foods! Left the place stuffed.

First time I ate there we have some issues with the server who felt that she didn't get a tip that satisfied her I'm assuming and she actually came to our table and confronted one of the guys that tipped her which was nuts.. that was the first time.. But I've been multiple times after that and they have wonderful food The one thing is if you order too much food and they feel that you've did it on purpose or just didn't pay attention what you were doing they charge you $13.99 a pound to take it out that's Even if you want to order some extra food and then pay to take it out you still got to pay your regular fee and the $13.99 a pound plate they weigh it out up front something new but the food's good and just understand that and you'll have a great time
Parking: It's right off 501 in Conway near the super Walmart right off the road The parking lot's nice it's never full it's big

Nope. This will never be a place for us. If one person at a table has all you can eat, then everyone has to have all you can eat. If you're hungry, and one person in your party isn't very hungry, don't come here.
If we can't be trusted to not share food, then I can't trust you with my money. We turned around and walked right out. I will now tell anyone that listens to avoid this place. I'm way past kindergarten and I don't like being treated like a kindergarten child at this stage of my life.

This was the 3rd time my fiancee and I have dined here. Last night was our 3 year anniversary dinner, and this time was better than before. If you’re a local, and have eaten at another similar establishment in the grand strand, then you’ll understand how this place works. However, unlike the aforementioned restaurant, ichiban really hit it home. Not only is the quality far superior to the other restaurant, but the prices are relatively the same, and the atmosphere is leagues better. I ordered quite a few plates, which hasn’t happened in a good while for me. I was pleased to see the butterfly roll stick around as a dinner special, and thank you for having some high quality sashimi/sushi pieces, I found the snapper and red clam to be my favorites. I’ve finally found an AYCE sushi restaurant worthy of my money once more.
