Nice menu options but costly for the size plate and no soup or salad included. Four meals - only one seafood- all waters and it was over $160. Ordered the seafood radiatore dish and it was very spicy. I like spice and could not finish it. I checked the menu again and no mention of that. Staff was attentive but for the menu prices I would prefer not to see the wait staff in wrinkled t-shirts and leggings. Maybe more professional to match the decor? Not only our waiter. All front staff dressed the same. It was very dark and we could not see our food. We would return if guests or friends requested to go, but likely not due to cost vs value. We like to support Conway, but I don’t want to feel like I wasted money.

Went to Rivertown Bistro for my anniversary dinner and the experience was wonderful. We did have a reservation and sat only a couple minutes before getting seated. The atmosphere was lively but also intimate within your party. Food service was quick and the majority of the food itself was good, with amazing daily specials. Drinks were good with a great selection. They also offered us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary! For the amount of food and drinks we got, our total was $150, which doesn't seem bad, but it definitely would only be a special occasion outing for me.

We arrived at happy hour. 15 minutes later, they took our drink order. We ordered dinner at 515 & it arrived 45 mins later. Meanwhile, a senior lady had fallen & staff did nothing. When dinner arrived, the oyster Rockefeller was ridiculously bland. The calamari & creek shrimp smelled so fishy, we took it home to the dogs & they passed on eating it. The chicken marsala was also boxed up & ended in the trash. I eat in Conway often at various restaurants. I had such high hopes for this one, but it was an epic fail. I very rarely post a bad review, but the experience was awful. Its nicely decorated though.

We had lunch there today. One of the first three tables to be seated. It was about 45 minutes before our food was served. Each thing ordered was standard order, don't think there was one change asked for. While I/we like the food the service time today and last time we were there to us is long...

I ordered the Low Country Pork Chop— it was 80% FAT.. covered in gravy!!! Very sad that a a Chef in a restaurant with this reputation would serve that
I have eaten in every quality restaurant in the Grand Strand… and this was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

Wow what wonderful food. The pork was so tender and my husband who’s pretty particular with his burgers tells me this was really delicious. Monti was our server and she was really friendly, gave amazing service and knew the menu really well.
All in all an exceptional lunch.

Honestly the only thing worth paying for was the alcohol... My $47 prime ribeye was flavor less poor meat quality mainly fat. The twice baked mashed potatoes left something to be desired.. the truffle Parmesan fries were delicious. Although they were plated on top of my prime ribeye probably trying to hide the char burns the onion soup was actually very good savory in flavor oysters Rockefeller had shell pieces in the oysters, the crab in the veal piccata had shell pieces as well lemon tzatziki potatos were alight. As far as the staff it was all right as well. They had a delay in the sushi area for the food which took longer than expected. Waiter offered a basket of bread and oil with herbs although it seems like they should have brought those out to begin with. When they seat you at the table you can see into the kitchen which made me cringe saute and grill station staff had no hair nets on or hats. The floor was disgusting with food dropped everywhere. The tables were sticky and the chairs were well worn. As far as the appearance of the staff was not uniformed professionally, some of them had leggings and others had yoga pants. Although the one redeeming factor to be completely honest was the dessert for me. The creme brulee was phenomenal. The lemon cheesecake was just a regular cheese cake with lemon drizzle. First time there not impressed. Definitely not worth the $200.00 tab.

Steve the waiter was great. Unfortunately that’s where it ended. Of four choices of bottles wines, two were out of stock, one they had after the manager said they didn’t have it and the other bottle was rancid. Pork chops which 4 of us had were just ok. I would have thought the manager herself would’ve come to the table to apologize for the wine issues but she stayed in the kitchen. Overall experience not so good.

First time here. We met an acquaintance that lives in Myrtle Beach here as he suggested it .
I ordered the chicken cordon blue wrap which came with a pasta salad and sweet potato chips. My husband ordered the beef and cheddar sandwich which his came with chips and au jus. His friend got the sandwich special, meatball sub. I had water and my husband and friend had a soda each. We all enjoyed our it food. Our bill came to $60ish + tip.
Parking is difficult and the local street parking is only 2 hours. This place does have an upper level that you can see the river but we sat downstairs.

The restaurant was very nice and clean. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. The food, however, was terrible. My husband ordered the porkchop. It was very tough and hard to cut. My friends had the veal, which was very fatty, and the ribeye was over cooked with absolutely no taste. I ordered the seared tuna. It was burnt and did not taste good at all. We never send food back, so we ate what we could and paid our bill. It was about 30 minutes to an hour when I got very sick. This lasted all night into the next day which we found out was food poisoning. I know everyone has an off night occasionally, we are human, and I hope that was the case, because I wouldn't want anyone to experience a night like I had. Especially when you pay over $100 for 2 meals.
