Established in the Deep South of Shreveport, Louisiana in 2008, this southern style chain has been a mainstay in Conway. Home of the jumbo shrimp the menu offers the likes of grilled/fried seafood, chicken strips/wings, Po’ boys/burgers, salads and southern sides. Simple setup with padded booths, tables and chairs with a lot of windows that make it bright and airy. Nicely decorated and clean. Counter ordering with a large overhead menu and staff that bring the food to your tables. Kudos to Janiyah for being friendly and providing efficient service. First up was our appetizer of cheese sticks that were an immediate success as they were crispy and thick with cheese. Comes with a side of marinara sauce. Next was our grilled flounder and shrimp. A decent portion that fed two of us with lightly seasoned, grilled fillets and buttery shrimp with their own made from scratch tartar sauce. Our two sides were the delicious hush puppies and fries. No frills presentation with good portions of tasty seafood and sides. Looking to come back again.

Me and my husband have been wanting to try Sam's and we finally did today for his birthday. It was our first time there and the young lady waiting to take our order was very patient with us as my husband wanted one of everything lol he was wanting fried mushrooms but instead of those I pointed out that they had fried green tomatoes that he totally loved. I got the flounder and shrimp while he ordered the fish shrimp and oyster plate. Everything was really good (he left in a food coma lol) we definitely will be going back. Thank you again for amazing service and excellent food for his birthday lunch. It was perfect ❤️❤️❤️

Pleasantly impressed. Visiting from Florida with the wife and we've been trying a bunch of local joints in the area. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the prices but after tasting everything it seemed fair. The quality and quantity of food was good and we're both happy with our visit. We'll definitely come back next time we're up to see family.

I got the popcorn shrimp with hush puppies and they were beyond pronominal, although if you like crunch on the popcorn shrimp request it to be fried for longer. Outstandingly friendly customer service from both Kaylee and janiyah
I pulled in around 6pm, was helped right away by a very friendly employee. I bought the 8 piece buffalo chicken wings, and hush puppies and it was all delicious. Well done Sams.

Got the fried mushrooms, fish and shrimp plate, and scallops with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. Everything tasted so good. I haven’t had really good food like this in awhile. The batter they fry everything with and you can tell it’s really fresh. So much flavor. Definitely my new favorite spot which is dangerous because I only live 2 minutes away haha. Can’t wait to try more stuff!

Went to try it out. Guess I'm spoiled from living on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The fried green tomatoes were superb! I really liked the slaw. The grilled baby shrimp were not to my liking...drowned in some kind of overly-salty, butter. Hush puppies were ok and were served ice cold. Our server was inattentive and rude. No knives on the table, only forks. She served our very hot, delicious fried green tomatoes with no plates. I had to ask for plates and knives. Got a rude response from her. The younger server was a delightful young lady who was sweet, friendly and accommodating. SHE is an asset to the establishment...not the server we had. My husband got the fried flounder with fries. Said it was OK. Doubt that we'll be back.
