I’d never been here, as I normally go to Whitaker’s or King Kong, but Whitaker’s was super busy and I did feel like going to Carolina Forest. We sat at the bar. The service was horrible. The bartender never checked on us other than to take our order and give us our checks, and drink was undrinkable. It tasted like pure sour mix. I only took the one sip, and it sat there throughout our meal. When I asked if it could be taken off, the bartender told me that I should have asked earlier because the manager left and there was no one there to remove it from my check. The food was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and save your money. I’ll either wait or make the drive next time.

Moni is THE best bartender!! After just one visit weeks ago, she immediately remembered myself and my friend when we came in and our orders. She doesn’t miss suggesting something from the menu and everything we ordered was delicious. Such a fun atmosphere and Moni keeps the fun going with jokes all night. 10 out of 10 recommend going and sitting at the bar to see the best!!

Completely average, long wait time for the food considering no one was there when I arrived. Service was good from 2/3 employees, the third was a bit rough around the edges, but nothing I'm not used to. If the food was stellar I wouldn't be so picky, but I would say it's just okay. Nothing crazy, I'd come back if I was in the area, but it's nothing special.

This location is terrible! The first thing you notice when you walk in the door is the very heavy cigarette smoke smell from the bar next door. It took almost 30 minutes for a to go order because they only have 2 people working. I will definitely choose a different location next time.

Moni was incredible. She was super friendly and professional. She had great knowledge of the menu and was able to give great suggestions based on knowing what we were looking for and liked. We ended up getting the five piece TNT roll and the eight piece Danny roll. Both were absolutely phenomenal. Definitely will go back, especially on days that Moni is there she is fabulous.

The minute I walk in the place strong cigarette smell. That did it for me. I will never go back. I got such a headache from the cigarette smell. I could not eat, smell is just awful. We brought people from out of town. No restaurant should smell like that. I was not at a dive bar, but that’s how I felt. Would not recommend at all.

Man I’m glad this place is open till 10pm folks such as myself love a great place to eat if you are working past 10 make sure you come for lunch they open at 11 so that is awesome. Great place for family food and fun. As you know you can’t appease everyone that talks about their money but they go above and beyond

Walked in to order take out and was overwhelmed with smoke from the other side of the building. It was so bad I had to wait in my car for my food. When I got the food, the "hibachi vegetables" looked steamed or boiled and the rice was cold and hard. Sushi had gotten warm in the ten minutes it took to get home. Not worth $24 at all. Should have just left when I smelled the smoke

It absolutely amazes me that this location is in such a prime area of horry county, but closes everything at 10:00 p.m. There are so many people who work after 9:00 that would love to come in and get some sushi and perhaps a cocktail. I understand employees get tired and they're ready to go home if that's the case hire a new staff that comes in after to be able to take over the night portion. It's just disappointing that there are people like myself who have money to spend want to spend it but can't
