The Trestle Bakery is a Conway staple. Whether you need a sweet pick me up for yourself, fresh bread, coffee, or a dessert for a party or shower, they are my go to place. The atmosphere is perfect for a stop when shopping or for a quiet and quaint place to catch up with friends.
This bakery was a gem in Conway, but they lost their baker who made the best donuts in the Myrtle Beach area, and now they're over baking their cinnamon buns. Their cakes are still top notch, along with the danish and muffins.
I would hope the ownership would rehire the baker they lost, but I don't think that's going to happen anytime soon. It's still a quality bakery, so check it out.

Some stuff is good, some not so much. Hit or miss. Loved the Peacan Bar, loved the sugar cookies. Pastries I've had seem a little dry. Sourdough bread excellent. Pumpkin bread ok. Haven't had the cakes yet. Coffee nice as an added option. Table & Chairs to sit inside and outside. They charge to use credit card. Understandable. They have a restaurant a few doors down that serve breakfast and lunch and dining inside out. Definitely worth a try. I will be a regular...
