I will NEVER go back here again !!!! I wanted to go to Twin Dragon but they would have been closed before I got there ! But I ordered a sesame seed chicken basket with shrimp fried rice and those people only gave me 2 duck sauces and 2 soy!!!! All this dry rice they pile on these plates!!!! What exactly were those sauces gone do for myself and 2 children! I will NOT go back ! Ever since the old owners left , chicken shack has turned into Chicken TRASH!!!!

Yeah…no. I had heard so much hype about this place so decided to try it. Definitely a one and done. Lo mein had absolutely no taste. It was like eating hot water soup. The lemon pepper wings were soft, no crispiness to the skin. I did give it two stars because surprisingly the rice was really good. Couldn’t finish the lo mein. Threw it out.

All the food tastes great since they changed over the kitchen staff but, why I gave it such a low rating is because the egg drop soup used to taste great. Now it tastes like watered down egg soup with no flavor what so ever. It used to have flavor but, every time we have ordered it for the past few weeks there is no flavor at all. They really need to fix that.
Not the chicken shack that I remember, sadly. My family was stationed at Shaw back in 2002 through 2004. Chicken shack was THE Friday night treat. The chicken fried rice was my go-to and set the standard by which I have rated every other Chinese restaurant’s chicken fried rice since. My mom and I were in Columbia back in 2012. We made the trip over to chicken shack, and it was everything I remembered, except now with tables! I was on a road trip and I detoured 2 hours out of the way to get my beloved chicken fried rice. This time, it was nothing like I remembered. It was nothing special, and had none of the fixings that made it so special. No green onions. No bean sprouts. No fried egg. And the flavor was so bland. The owner and her husband no longer run the place in person, and the staff didn’t pick up any of the passion they owners had while they were in-house.

My fiance loves them. I don't get it. The people are great and the business itself is well kept but I had to re steam the rice and the chicken was dry..... maybe my own personal preference. I'm from Colorado and we're used to well cook moist tasty meat. Doesn't seem to be a thing out here cause the places my fiance loves seem to be the most dry in flavorful meat. Where I'm from the meat provides the flavor. Not the overloaded spices
Back in the day, it would be 5 stars. Now days it hit and miss. The girl that answers the phone needs to learn some manners because she's rude!
