When you walk into the restaurant you instantly get the “at home” vibe, very relaxed and comfortable. Friendly staff that will help you to understand southern hospitality if you’re from out of town. I’ve had the ribs, hash and rice, bbq sandwich, Mac and cheese, as well as fries. The BBQ was outstanding. It's been the best I've tasted in Sumter. The brisket had a good taste but was a little tough. The mac & cheese was ok and the cabbage was delicious. The Karolina Krack tea is great but a diabetic's nightmare. There wasn't much of a variety of drinks for a diabetic either, just water. All in all, we will be back and hopefully the next dishes will be better and tender.
