The tacos were delicious! And the service was so friendly. I was even given a free piece of cake to try. It was so good. I definitely plan on going back.

Overpriced and not good food. The meat was inedible fat and gristle. Not a return visit kind of place. Bad tourist food knowing you probably won't be back anyway. Cashier was friendly but more engaged with her phone than customer service. She forgot I was waiting then suddenly remembers and runs to the back to get my order after 10 plus minutes.

I was very excited to eat here but I was disappointed. Mainly due to the wait of the food. I waited for 10 and later was asked to change my meat due running out if steak and then waited another 10 minutes for the food. There were only like 2 other families here. The food was good.

I give this rate because i ask for a veggie burritos and tell the lady that i only want on it salad ,rice and lettuce and she add other stuff after i see it i return and she cant take it back because it was already in my hands so i need to re-pay for the burrito to have it how i want it and the other one she trash it on the trash, not recoment the service food was okay afterworse

Lovely employees, great service, horrible food. We first walked into the Sombrero restaurant, we realized it was american food so we asked were the Mexican food was. The waitress said "oh you want tacos and stuff" her tone of voice said: "oh you want that $#1T"😂 (she knew ðŸ˜). Might I suggest some cooking classes please? Now I know why it's called Burrito Loco.....you'd have to be loco to want to eat here. Taco bell tastes like fine dining in comparison. I will never complain about Taco bell again. Edit: 12 hours later....... stomach still feels like aliens are waging war with my entrails.

This place is part of South of the Border. Got a chicken taco salad. Picture perfect but I covered with a couple items from the fixing bar. Definitely stopping here again.

Portions are huge. One burrito could easily feed two people. The nachos can feed three people. The cheese sauce is bland, but that's the norm with most cheese sauces that aren't from Taco Bell, lol. We didn't try the tacos, but they did look authentic. Free refills on fountain drinks. Caprisun pouches were available for .50c each. The service was great, very kind workers. Restrooms are just outside of the restaurant, and are kept very clean.

Not authentic Mexican food. The barbacoa tacos were plain, the al pastor burrito can be call a rice burrito, because there was hardly no meat in it mainly rice, they use 2 small tortills yo make a burrito and not even wrapped properly the rice was falling all over. Being from Southern Texas I dont recommend this place if you're looking for authentic Mexican food. The food can be a lot better if they really try

Seriously the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I didn’t like south of the border, it creeped me out, but I will absolutely be back just for this restaurant. My sister got a taco bowl and the portion was HUGE. I got a quesadilla and it was also massive. The refried beans were delicious. You could tell it was authentic family cooking. ? the only thing that wasn’t perfection in my opinion was the tortilla chips, but with how much food we got, they weren’t missed anyway lol
After reading the negative reviews, I’m certain that there must be different cooks who work there & i lucked up with the best lol
