We went here for Sunday lunch. Arrived about 1:30 and everybody got the meat and three special. Food itself was pretty good, but everything else was not.Some people ordered mashed potatoes but they ran out, so instead of asking what to substitute with, they just gave us something else without asking. They told us that everything had white milk gravy, but instead everything came with brown gravy. One of our forks had visible white thick residue on it. That was after we had to ask for silverware. The meal included cornbread, but they apparently ran out of that too. Instead of asking, they substituted with pizza crust. I don't mean garlic bread, literally just a cooked crust that they cut up with nothing on it. The meal also came with your choice of dessert. They only had one left and they didn't have enough for everybody at the table. For the third time, instead of offering a substitute (they sell ice cream as well) they just didn't give us anything. No offer for a discount or to make it right, which seems to be a common theme on these reviews. In summary, they ran out of FOUR things and made zero offers of a substitute.The food that we actually did receive was pretty decent, but because of the awful service, I won't be back.

great little place with burgers and pizza, fish plates and Italian food. Everything we have had there is good. We drive an hour just to get their fired fish.

Not sure what is going on with Irene's lately, but the past 3 orders have been a mess. A few weeks ago I ordered a crispy chicken salad and the lettuce had turned brown. Then we tried again and I ordered a shrimp plate. The fried shrimp was literally set immediately on the fries. Like to the point where the fries soaked up so much grease you could not even eat them. And now tonight we ordered and they said 15 to 20 min. Which is the norm, no big deal. My husband went to pick it up and he had been waiting for an extra 25min. It was 50 minutes after we called it in and they never even started part of the order. He had to call me to see what all should have been there. So now part of the order will be cold by the time he reaches the house. What is going on??? Pretty disappointed.

After ordering for here about 9 times my order had been wrong 7 and I've had to make the 15 minute drive one way. I'm not one to complain and I don't ever expect a hand out but eherytime the good was wrong the owner said he would make it right sp I've given him the time to keep his word without me bring it up and the 2 times I have I got the same answer I take care of you next time. Their food is OK for being a little over priced. Most of the staff are young teenage girls that are plain rude most of the time

I learned yesterday that To Go Orders isn’t the way to go there. I love this place but I did my first To Go Order & this was the amount of spaghetti I got and they gave me a piece of toast instead of Italian Bread as normal. So, let’s just say when I got home & opened my meal I was very disappointed. If you order in you’ll get get Portions of food.

Homey restaurant with a menu that does not disappoint. They have everything Pizza Pasta sandwiches burgers ice cream and so much more. They have clean bathrooms and friendly staff. Meal portions are huge enough to split but do not appear to be as big if you order takeout. You can call in an order or sit down at one of their many tables or booths. The owner is often times there and available and very friendly to talk to. Within walking distance of a small little Mennonite sweet shop that has donuts and more. Their Pizza is quite delicious and so is there chicken parmesan. And they grill their hot dogs instead of boiling. They do not currently have menus so you have to take pictures of it before you sit down at a table. It makes it a little difficult for seniors so hopefully that gets resolved soon. So if you haven't been yet it's time to get in your car and go.

Food was good and fast. Order was accurate BUT they billed me for extra charges. 2 drinks that we did not order. I asked why they added drinks to our order. She said well you have to drink with your meal. I asked her to remove the drinks or give us back the cash. She said she was not allowed to do that. They also charged us more for debit card but they did not tell me up front and I did not notice a sign. Everything in the place was very sticky too. Finish on table. Ceiling tiles are drooping. Not the best place but we were hungry on a Sunday afternoon.Blessings,John 20:29

We stopped by for some lunch a few days ago and this restaurant has become our favorite in the area. We loved our food so much we talked about going back today. We got subs and some onion rings and they are delicious. We highly recommend coming here. Great Service & Fast. Super friendly staff and great prices. One of the things that surprised me was how big the menu is. You can get anything that you are craving all in one place. We will definitely keep coming back and supporting this business.
An amazing restaurant. They have a huge menu, everything be was outstanding. I had the chicken cacciatore, and a side salad. Portion sizes are large, food was served quickly. It was hot and cooked very well. Prices were very good. We'll definitely be back. My only complaint would be their cleaning solution leaves behind a residue, that's kinda sticky.

Fantastic variety on the menu and everything was delicious....per my sister, the pizza was the best she has ever eaten....as was the steak and cheese I had. Small restaurant with a great staff.

My wife and I visited Irene's on April 15, 2021.She ordered a hamburger and after about two bites, she found a fingernail in the hamburger patty. Needless to say she did not eat the rest. We informed the waitress andcook 'Tried to get a refund but the waitress said Jeff was the only that could do the refund. I reached out to Jeff but did receive any return call. We do not recommend this restaurant.
