I have been going to Atami for years and it’s been pretty good but will not return. The steak was tough as well as the scallops. I could hardly chew the steak. The vegetables were over cooked. The rice was ok. I paid for extra sauce and did not receive. My meal with a drink was over $30. I wouldn’t recommend anyone eating here. The outside is same as usual, pretty messy but it’s never been an issue to me since the food was pretty good.

Food was not hot, chicken was very hard and there was hardly any chicken in addition to its quality being poor. I would not recommend eating here.

Been coming here for years, I am not sure what happened to this place but it's nothing like it used to be. Portions are way too small. We ordered hibachi steak and the steak pieces were burnt and hard. Also as far as the steak size goes... Well it looked more like steak crumbs. Sorry but after years of coming here, we won't be back. Easley has a lot of other Japanese restaurants that are way better now. I hope y'all fix the problems with your restaurant so y'all don't lose more customers.

This place has become less and less popular. The food isn't as tasty and the portions have diminished greatly. This time I got the shrimp and scallops and I swear they are slicing the scallops in 3rds. I could be wrong but they were so thin. I keep tryi.g, remembering days of old, but the writing .my be on the wall here. Let's see.

I ordered 2 hibachi plates and neither one of them had at least an ounce of seasoning or hibachi

Drive thru is a joke. Go some other place. A order I called in at 6:24 was not ready and i am still sitting in the line and it's 7:15 pm. Rather than pull cars that did not have a call in order. They make you wait when your order is ready. Then wait that long and they gave me the wrong order. Then when they gave me what was supposed to be my order. It was wrong after waiting 30 min I asked for a refund and left. Poor service. I will not be back.

Quick and easy Hibachi. They’re known for those delicious sweet carrots and ginger sauce.

Best teriyaki chicken I've ever had. Was cut and cooked to perfection. Carrots and rice were also very good 10/10.
My partner loved what they got too. Steak was cooked exactly as they'd asked and paired very well with the mushroom.

Food was fantastic as always! Almost zero wait time! Big portions if a little pricy but eh what isn’t today. And a fantastic employee who talked with us and is the only reason I’m leaving a review. We appreciate you.

This place used to be amazing, but the last couple times it’s been a treacherous experience. Extremely long wait times, mediocre food and they’re just not even a representation of what they were a couple years ago. I’ve actually had to start checking food before leaving the drive through. Tonight will be the last time I ever visit this restaurant. I checked the food, looked accurate but over cooked which after waiting in the drive through 45 minutes I didn’t want to wait another 45 for them to redo it. Upon getting home I opened up 2 hibachi steaks and found I was actually given hibachi mushrooms with a sprinkle of steak. This is pathetic. Mushrooms are picked out and put in the dish beside both meals.
