Tried this place out tonight after reading the wonderful article, and unfortunately it wasn’t horror themed as described but it’s still amazing! They were super busy, and probably understaffed but everything was great! If you don’t have time to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere this isn’t the place for you. Definitely worth the hour drive. We waited at the bar while waiting for our table on the patio, and that bartender rocked! She was so busy but handled it well. So fun just watching her. Our server on the porch Lauren, was so nice! Can’t wait to come back!

Food is good, and the fact they are so under staffed but manage to keep up is great. Except for the upstairs area. Was a huge sh*t show last night. 4 different people behind the bar, don’t even know which one was the actual bartender but none of them had a clue what to do or what was happening. Drinks were awful, and took forever to get waited on. My advice, find an actual bartender, because those girls will ruin your business. We eventually went downstairs to have our drinks made, will sit down there from now on. They were busier downstairs but managed to handle it a whole lot better. Maybe the ones upstairs are new. My advice, eat and drink downstairs.

So excited to finally try this place out tonight! Extremely busy but everything was worth the wait. Great beer and drink menu, food was wonderful. Drove an hour just to eat here. Waited at the bar for about 30 min until our outdoor table was ready, bartender and our server did an outstanding job. Both were busy but still made us feel welcome and were helpful. Will be back soon!

The owners could take a page out of the waitress’ handbook of hospitality. Multiple times they came over interrupting our meal, to ask if our service dog was a service dog like it was going to change within the last time they asked. It made us feel unwelcome as he was lying under the table, not bothering anyone. Meanwhile the waitresses provided a wonderful experience, going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.Overall, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was awesome so we will definitely come back. Hopefully by then, the owners won’t make us feel like such a sideshow.
Fist time here tonight, we almost left because no one would help us or tell us where to go but then the nice lady in the back (amber I think) told us we could sit at a table there and even tho she was so busy and was running ragged she gave us the best service. The food was delicious, gator tail and crawfish were off the chain but if not for her we would leave 1 star. She deserves all the stars. Will recommend to people but only tell them to sit in the bar room.

Food was overpriced for what it was - none of it was particularly good. They were also out at least two things on the menu, and both my wife and I had to order something else. Also, the non-alcoholic drinks are all in Styrofoam cups, so every time you have an iced tea, you're leaving a cup around for the next hundred years or whatever.The server was nice, I guess. I think she was expecting us to be mad about them being out of food, so she seemed pretty grateful when we were understanding that it wasn't her fault.I wouldn't go back. The food wasn't great, it was overpriced and kitschy, and your crawfish shouldn't taste fishy.
