This is not a stand out Japanese restaurant. It is very average. The food is very average. The staff was friendly, but they do not do a very good hibachi show.

First time visiting Dozo Hibachi in Easley and it was an amazing experience! The customer service was absolutely immaculate from the moment we walked in. Our chef, Marion, prepared the food with so much care and you could truly tell he cooks with love. His hibachi skills and entertainment made the whole experience fun and memorable!
Jessica was also fantastic—very personable and attentive. She recommended a sushi dish for my daughter that she absolutely loved, which made the night even better.
Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

1st time. Hibachi to go. Tons of rice. Very little meat. The sauce was all over the inside of the bag. Girlfriend got sick that night. Some of you may never have had a bad experience. Unfortunately we did.

We went for a fun family night. No one told us we were going to be behind the cook. We didnt get to see any cooking. My 7 year old was very disappointed. So I was I. The staff was nice. The food was good. We wouldn't have gone there if we had known it was going to be like that.
Dozo make some of the best Asian food! From sushi to hibachi the selections are carefully prepared and beautifully presented. You cannot beat the Dynamite appetizer. My personal favorite!

Do not eat here. Five of us are there and everyone didn’t feel good or like the taste of the food. I had abdominal pain and a head ache for three days one person in our group felt nauseous and had a head ache for three days and vomited the third day. Two others were nauseous and didn’t have an appetite for two days and had a headache as well. All of us but one had sushi and one had hibachi shrimp. The person that had the shrimp hibachi is the got sick.
