seems like the salad my wife ordered at lunch had lifeless aged leaves. the cashier said they had no tomatoes for my sandwich making me think they were using aged salad as well until the supply truck arrived. Panera for me has always been hit or miss. A meal like the other day will keep us away for months.

My husband and I went to lunch on Sept. 3, 2025. We have not had lunch at Panera for a very long time but loved it when we did go. We ordered two whole sandwiches, one being the advertised steak sandwich on focaccia bread. Two cups of soup and two drinks. It came to $43.00! The sandwiches were pitiful! The steak sandwich had a few pieces of steak on it and the chicken bacon sandwich was just as bad; we thought the steak sandwich was a veggie sandwich. We do not mind paying for a good meal, but the whole meal was pitiful. PANERA - do better! Won't be back, ever.

This was my first time ever at Panera, came with some of the sisters and brothers in my congregation. The food is a little pricey but absolutely delicious. I'll be taking my husband with me next time. If you've never been you definitely must go
