I have ordered at Starbucks many times before. But I have NEVER been treated like this before by any cashier in my life. The cashier didn’t acknowledge me when I was ready to order. No hi, may I take your order, next, nothing. They didn’t even look at me; they just stared off to the distance (i.e., the entrance). I was totally confused if there was something happening behind me, and there wasn’t. So, I just played it off as if it was nothing. The cashier was CONDESCENDING and made be feel extremely UNCOMFORTABLE.
I tried to scan and pay using my Starbucks app. They told me that I couldn’t use that here. So I assumed they meant strictly scan and pay, so I preceded with just scan only. The cashier again told me I couldn’t use that here, as if I was dumb. I used the scan only feature at this same Starbucks (Ingles) LITERALLY a week prior. But they never gave me a reason why it couldn’t be scanned. Did the policy change over the week? Or did the cashier not know how to use the scan feature since it was an Ingles? Never again will I be going to this Starbucks. Then again, I prefer supporting smaller businesses with BETTER SERVICE and COFFEE anyways.

This is by far the slowest Starbucks. I was in line for 27 minutes with 4 cars in front of me. Once you are in line you are stuck unable to get out.

They claimed they didn't know I was promoted, but gave me a name badge with the assistant manager on it. So not sure how they didn't know. Ingles managers have called me lazy and ungrateful, even though I was one of the hardest workers there. My manager was harassed by a man claiming he wanted to touch her places inappropriately and when we brought this to the managers attention she completely ignored what we told her.So please please do NOT work here.
