Such an incredible place to eat! It looked like the employees were all having a great time too! I got to meet with the owner Nino! What an incredible guy! Such a great family story too! We ordered the stuff mushrooms, an old family tradition! I can see why they were outstanding. We got the classic pepperoni pizza with a family style crust! it was so good! Great value too! Drinks from the bar were good and cold. Just an incredible place to visit! Go to Marios and say hello to Nino!

We love love love Marios Pizzeria in downtown Edgefield! Looks like the place to be in this small town! We met the owner Nino, he was so kind and welcoming! Food was so incredible! Home made meatballs and home made pizza dough! We loved how he has honored his family in the fine establishment! We wish them the best for many years to come!!

This is our second time this evening we went to your restaurant we got there about 4 o’clock there was only two men at the bar and we were the only people there the first server came and gave us the menus then the lady that works behind the bar came to take our order. We had ordered six wings a 12 inch pizza the two drinks and a large salad requesting that they put the large salad into two bowls. The first waitress was on her way home and the two waitresses talked and talked and talked and I kept wondering I could see all the way in the back waiting for someone to bring our salads because we would like to eat them before the pizza came well it was after the first Waitress finally left that the other one Came to our table and I asked if we could please get our salad before our Pizza comes so she finally goes up there and by the time she brings us our salad here comes the pizza and the wings and salad and only in one dish and she says oh do you want me to go ahead and separate it I said no we’ll do it ourselves. Well that didn’t stop the guys in the back from eating their hot pizza all three of them were back there eating . Our pizza stayed up on the counter because there was nobody to bring it to us so naturally the pizza was cold we went ahead didn’t want to cause a scene I had one slice my husband he ate the other part and then we took the rest home The first visit we had there was wonderful service, the food was wonderful,but eating cold pizza the cheese don’t even string out it’s not my or my husbands not an enjoyable meal . I just had to let you know because this shouldn’t happen to nobody know when you’re going in there I like the place it’s clean , service sucked this time and when the pizza got done if the waitress couldn’t bring it to us the man that made it he had a black shirt on he could’ve brought it to us or the guy in the RedShirt with a hat could’ve brought it, the man with the white shirt who made the salad and put it in the fridge could’ve brought it to us but here I mean everybody could see we had an empty table there was no other customers. We were really disappointed ,people wake up, treat people like you wanna be treated when you go to a restaurant that’s all I ask thank you.

I was invited to a private event. The menu included several kinds of pizza, salad and drinks. The pizza was excellent and hot and the salad delicious. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back. Parking can be a challenge especially during busy times. Sorry, no photos this time.

My husband and I went to Mario's for lunch and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice, down to the music selection. Our server was very kind and helpful with menu questions and very attentive. I liked that something other than pizza was on the menu. I'm not big on tomato sauce, so it makes it nice to have options when you're having a meal with someone who loves tomato sauce.We spoke with the owner who was very friendly. I question the reviews saying otherwise. I would highly recommend Mario's for a great dining experience.

My wife and I visited Mario's for the first time on a Saturday afternoon and were very pleased. It was not busy at the time we went (about 2 PM) so getting a table was not a problem. The waitress was friendly and attentive and made sure to get us everything we needed. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. My wife got the Philly cheesesteak with fries and a house salad, and I got the chicken parmesan with the house made linguini and house salad with garlic bread. The food was fresh, delicious, and the portions were satisfying. We passed on dessert at Mario's and went to TLC Confections instead for dessert and coffee. We spoke with Nino, the owner, who was very nice, and complimented him on his restaurant. His wife owns TLC Confections... how cool is that! He shared a little bit of his vision which is to see Edgefield square become a vibrant, thriving area for businesses that families of the surrounding areas can visit. He wants to see businesses work together and help each other succeed which is something often lacking in a small town. Downtown Edgefield only has a few family-owned restaurants and shops and could use some more like Mario's and TLC Confections. We definitely plan to go back to both!
Great authentic Italian food! Not like Dominos or Pizza Hut. Real actual pizza. My husband and I had dinner and lunch there. We loved not only the food, but the atmosphere! Such a cool place to hang out and eat some good food! Definitely recommend it!
It's a great little pizza place. The food is priced reasonably, and the Buffalo Chicken pizza is great!!! The Meatball subs are excellent handmade meatballs, too!!! Service is a little slow, but in this market is to be expected. Hard to find people who want to work. Will be back for sure!!

Simply the BEST place to eat in Edgefield, SC! The creative quality is simply unmatched for miles around. Fresh food made daily with excellent service and an amazing atmosphere. The owner is someone who prides himself in providing a quality product which he stands behind! He also stands behind his staff by training and treating them well, and not allowing them to be treated poorly by others…which is rare these days!Eric is a brilliant chef that has a VERY bright future! I’ve been lucky enough to be offered samples of some of his new creations and have NEVER been disappointed! Keep an eye out for new menu items as they’re always exceptional!Mario’s is the only place in town with a selection of domestic, imported, and craft beers! The beer is ALWAYS cold, unlike larger chain restaurants.If you listen to disgruntled Karen’s that didn’t get their standard freebie for complaining, you’ll miss out on the gem of the CSRA!Make sure you ask Nino about Mario’s namesake! You’re sure to hear a few great stories and to learn why family and tradition makes Mario’s such an amazing place to frequent!!

I have come to Marios often since it opened in 2022. I love the pizza! For my preferences I feel like the crust is just right. Some people may disagree on that and fortunately for them pizza isn't the only option! They have wings, sandwiches, salads, and more! Their hand cut fries are amazing. If it's a music night or other type of event you may have to wait a bit for a pizza, but they are very accommodating. I've seen a few reviews about how clean it is and I wholeheartedly agree. Not many restaurants allow people a view into their kitchen, but Marios does, and you can tell the owner takes cleanliness seriously. I came in on two different Sundays and he had one of his employees wiping down floorboards since it was slow. I've loved coming to different events at this restaurant such as music nights, karaoke, or just coming in to watch a game. It's a wonderful place for a smaller town like Edgefield to have.
