Great campground. Waterfront and beautiful!

A very out of the way place. My Husband and I stayed and the first day/night I tried getting a hold of the owners to get more towels (there was only 1 towel set in the place) this was frustrating because they knew there was two of us. We did get more towels the next day, after we came back, in the afternoon. We stayed 4 days and never had any clean sheets or towels. So this is treated more like a BNB not a motel. Where you are on your own. There was a fish cleaning station and once we used it then we got a text-that we did not see until after we were done using it with directions on how to bag the fish guts. Why wasn't this in the binder that was in the room on how to do things? We did not get how to connect to the owners to get our needs met. Yes the place is clean, yes it is quiet, right on the water. BUT - no customer service. They don't tell you were to leave the key if you leave before the store is open, how to get out of the gate if you leave at evening or early in AM when gate is closed. SO much more could have been communicated that caused stress to my vacation. Will not return.

A group of us rented the Boathouse. It is full of room with three bedrooms and five beds. There were three sofas and a large dining table with bench seating.

There is only one bathroom and it could use some updating but dont let that stop you from visiting this awesome location.

I will be returning with friends and my family.

Rented through Air BnB during Hurricane evacuation fromFL. Did not use any of the fishing or boating accommodations however the room was very clean, beautiful quiet property. Friendly helpful staff. Air BnB made an error in the billing but the resort staff took care of it for me quickly. Very nice place, will go back again.

We stayed here at the last minute for my sisters wedding it was perfect we loved the room with the kitchenette for my son everything was very very clean everyone was very nice its super convenient for the store right there but i had to go to the hot spot because there was no milk for my sons bottels but everything else was perfect we especially loved nemo the cat he was so sweet and friends w my son !

Nice location but to describe the accommodation as a luxury aparthotel is pushing the factual limits. In fact, there is one 2 story block of old rooms that, whilst mainly clean, are pretty well used and do not have private balconies as advertised. The bath in particular was not nice (see photo). There was a Roku remote but we could not get the TV on. We did message management but did not get a response. The worse issue was the noise coming from the guy in #206 which sounded like he was literally smashing the room up, singing, shouting and playing loud music until after 4am. Again we txt management without response. The noise stopped when we banged on the wall. I think the guy may be employed there. The ear plugs left in the room would suggest issues and did little to block the noise. The walls are obviously paper thin. You pay your money and make your choice but we would not recommend this accommodation.

This is a good place to go for a quiet get away. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and offer a great view of the lake. The owners work hard to ensure that your stay is pleasant. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be away from the noise of the city

Very nicely maintained. Not for snooty people. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Buy your stuff before you get here because it's all convenience stores.

We had a great 3 days stay. We stayed in the hotel queen bed with kitchen. All rooms face the lake. Staff was great and the communication was great. Lived in SC for 20 years and never knew about this place but going forward we will stay often. Thanks for a wonderful peaceful stay. David and

The owner Jud is very friendly and nice! He was very kind to show us the room before we locked in our stay, and provided recommendations for local restaurants (the Thai place in Santee near I-95 is amazing!). The other staff was also very friendly, and answered all our questions.

We stayed for 1 night only en-route from Miami to DC. It was a great stay, we'll gladly do it again!

what a hidden gem. you have to kayak around the lake just incredible. so much wildlife and gorgeous scenery. really amazing and peaceful. great service, rooms are ok

We had a terrific visit over the Fourth of July weekend. The ramp was very accessible, the staff, efficient and helpful, and we enjoyed the hamburgers and firework show.
