Okay room. Not worth the price in my opinion. Could use a deep clean. Looked like some areas of the room hadn't been touched in months. Water front was nice. Play area for kids. I'm guessing there was a community BBQ as well, bring your own charcoal/wood. I did not care for the over priced store. Or the people in it.Beds were okay, too soft for me, I hardly slept. And didn't like the material of the sheets. I know petty things but not typical hotel sheets that are white lien that breath. Same with the towels (non absorbant). Which had me skeptical on how they're killing bacteria and germs if they aren't using a chemical on their towels/lines, due to them being colored.

I found this place as an ad on Words with Friends and decided to give it a try. We stayed for 2 days and it was so relaxing beautiful. Everyone we dealt with were super friendly and some had been coming for years. This was for our 46th anniversary and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We also loved eating at Chrissys Diner. All the people there were so friendly. Saw some of the same people at every meal. We will definitely visit this little hideaway again. Thanks to all of those that made our trip so pleasurable.Rooms: Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also loved the decor.Nearby activities: They rent boats and fishing stuff.Walkability: The restaurant was c a short walk.

Looking for a quiet lakeside getaway…look no more! This place is hidden gem if you like a good basic lakeside hangout where people to come fish and enjoy time outdoors. The staff is so helpful and quite personable! They went to great efforts to move us on our 2nd day to a room that was more accessible for my senior mom. The friendliness of the staff is infectious. Nice folks throughout the campgrounds. Not a lot of frills in the hotel but nice, and clean with easy lake access. Great for the price!Walkability: You can walk right up to the lake and even stroll the entire campground without traffic worries and there is the well stocked store and a quaint little diner that are also in walking distance!

Let me start by saying I gave 5 stars for each category and I did not pencil whip this review and i will explain each also I have no connection to this place I live in south alabama but I travel for work and i stayed on the second floor for over two weeks First the location when I looked at this place on Google maps it looked like it was in the middle of no where but once settled it I realized I was wrong. There is an iga grocery store about 5 min away. There is a restaurant diner whose food surprised me at the entrance to the grounds breakfast lunch and dinner. There is a country store that has everything you need and more from fishing poles to crazy pizzas and everything in between. Across the street is a quiet bar if your into that. So location is a win also the park has auto gates that close and lock after 6 so that a plus if you have tools or gear.Secondly the rooms. This is a very Quaint and quiet park little on the rustic side but not to be confused with run down or burned out. When walking in the room first thing I noticed was the mints on the pillow and the complimentary snack bar. The beds are new and the pillows are down aka actual feathers however you spell it lol. Some rooms have kitchens in them and others don't the kitchen is nice and fully stocked with cooking gear. I'm not joking guys I had three modern bar stools tucked under a bar they even had a new first aid kit which came in handy the tv runs off of ruku so I recommend having your Netflix password but if you don't they will set you up with hulu. This place really is one of a kind must seeAnd last but not least coustomer service. Top notch. Any time I had any troubles whether be washer machine not taking my quarters which only happened because the change was full (not their fault) or having a mix up with the days I delt with one of the owners judd and his wife. They were both amazing and always understanding. They aim to please and do whatever it took to make things right with me. Btw I'm here working at the santee Cooper cross gen station powerplant which is less than 15 min away. If I ever have to come back to this plant you best bet I'm staying here again.

Bells Marina & Resort was a sweet find in South Carolina! We found it on the Hipcamp app and enjoyed the beautiful, serene spot right on Lake Marion. (We were particularly excited about all of the egrets, herons, and other wildlife!) There are various options for your stay: different types of RV spots, a hotel . . . and some people stay on their boat! You can stay overnight and relax by the water, or stay a little longer and hop in a rented kayak or canoe. The park is located right behind the gas station, restaurant, and convenience store, where you check in. The park offers wifi. The Eutawville internet did go down twice during our one-week stay, so hopefully that was just a fluke! Our Verizon and AT&T were spotty. Otherwise, everything was great! Check out our full review on YT ("TK n Earl").

I stayed there recently. Nice rooms and view. Very friendly and honest staff. I forgot my tackle bag outside. I was on my way to Florida. When I got there I realized my tackle bag was missing. Crossing my fingers I called them. They found it . I had over 400.00 worth of tackle in the bag. They held it for me for a week. Thank you Bells marina for the honesty!

I would give all 5 stars but unfortunately our room had issues that once complaints were made about we were told maintenance would be coming to assist with and they never came. Our bed frame collapsed as soon as we sat down our first night. Not being picky we just moved to the other bed. Informed staff the next morning picked up our children from the sitter for the next night and they had to sleep on the broken bed. They also shut the lights off outside at 10 Pm on a Saturday night while we were still fishing from the bank which really wasn't ideal as we had to collect all our belongings in the dark from the bank as there wasn't a warning. However, please let me rave about the service and kindness of this campground! Short Dog, one of the employees went above and beyond to find anything we needed. My children came for our second night and one of the owners came around with coloring books, color pencils and candy for my children. The resort itself and location, you just can't beat it. They offer free snacks upon arrival in the room which my babies loved while we figured out dinner, the rooms were very clean and everyone around was just so kind. Also, the outdoor area was just great, we had a fire pit by the bank while we were fishing, caught some beautiful fish out there. My children were able to play in their playground area and just be one with nature for a day with all the different species of birds they have out there. Definitely a repeat occurrence for this family. The new owners are doing amazing with it!

We love this place. Real coffee pot in the room, all rooms face the water. Comfy and clean. The restaurant has good solid food in large quantities for extremely reasonable prices. Room was warm despite 27° F outside.

We recently enjoyed a 3 night stay in our RV here. The owners, Judd and Charlotte couldn’t be nicer. (Judd loaned us a hose because ours was a bit short.) They recently took ownership of the property and are working to improve it. I will say that not every campground can be all things to all people. If you like being right next to the water, having access to fish or boat, having a convenience store within walking distance, having a security gate, etc, then you will appreciate this place. If you are looking to get that secluded nature camping experience, you might be happier in a state park or something like that. All that being said, the bathhouse here was clean and nice, the wifi worked surprisingly well for a campground, the other campers were friendly and quiet and the grounds were fairly clean and well kept.Nearby activities: Kayaking, hiking, fishing
