Wife asked about this and we took a side trip from our errands to drop round for a quick lunch( she likes the family owned idea)...I couldn't help but stop at bakery counter and get my favorite sourdough fresh bread...and of course 5 other individual loans of flavored breads to freeze back home for the occasional treat after chores..
The doughnuts here are SO good! But you need to get there early if you want first pick as they are VERY popular. The doughnuts are not too sweet which is great as fast food chains make the doughnuts sickeningly sweet. The workers are very nice and a great selection if you find yourself there on time. 7-9 am is the best time to go to get the best pick!
Stopped by on my way to Atlanta because of the good things I'd heard about Hershberger's and boy I wasn't disappointed. The cinnamon rolls are amazing!! I wouldn't recommend going in hungry or you may end up buying the place out!
