We’re from central Massachusetts. We were on our way down to Disney, and were staying the night in Florence, SC. I did a quick search on Yelp, thought the menu for 1720 looked good, so we decided to give it a try. I have to say, it’s been a very long time since I was that satisfied/overjoyed by the food in a restaurant. My kids, my husband and myself were floored by the food we ordered. Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Our service was exceptional (despite them being understaffed), and our overall experience was one to remember. We haven’t stopped talking about that food since the night we ate there. Wish we lived closer.

Love this restaurant. It's my go to when I am in the area. The only bummer during the last visit is they got rid of their bacon jam. That stuff was soooo delicious, and took the burgers to the next level.

Phenomenal food! The 1720 fries are a delicious appetizer to share. The burgers are well seasoned. The fries are fresh, delicious. and hand cut. The salads are fresh and crisp. Highly recommend. My only suggestion is that a gluten free bun would be nice. Perhaps a local bakery could collaborate or get some Carbonaut or Against the Grain gluten free buns for those of us who can’t have the wheat. (Please, please , no Udi’s buns.) I had my burger on a bed of lettuce, which is fine and thankfully the Wendy burger was good enough to stand on its on without a bun.Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options for a burger or sandwich bun.

Passing through Florence (like everyone else LOL) and needed some eats. 1720 was a good choice, homemade burgers and fries, great option given all of the other fast food in the area.We just stuck to the basics, couple of custom burgers and fries. Everything was cooked well, fries were hot and very good. Full bar, plenty of options.We would definitely recommend 1720 to anyone passing through.

The owner (didn’t catch his name) was awesome! Traveling from Virginia, they wowed us with great burger and chicken sammys…but the REAL deal was the incredible beingnets he offered us as we were headed south! Great place and the most friendly staff (even though I had to have a Bloody Mary) ???
Great service, quality food that delivers every time me stop. This is a must every time we pass through Florence. The cheeseburger quesadillas comes highly recommended!
