The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the wood smell amazing, Annie our waitress very helpful as well as others asking if we had a good time, the food delicious from the cornbread and butter, the shrimp appetizer with the wonderful butter sauce, and my husband's hanger steak and potatoes.“

After trying our luck at some well-known establishments like Buffalo Wild Wings, we decided to try our hand here as we were in desperate need of good drinks and real people. The Wooden Nickel did not disappoint! We found some of the most colorful, friendly, and inviting people in this rock'n country bar. I am a man of above average stature and usually receive questionable looks when I enter a room. However, upon stepping through the door, I was greeted with true hospitality. No one seemed to be a stranger under the roof of the Wooden Nickel. The incredible friendly hospitality spread beyond every corner. The atmosphere is everything you'd want in a bar or nightlife environment. We met some of the most amazing people one could wish to come in contact with, and the drinks were outstanding ?. We left the house on an adventure to find a bar and a few drinks. After stumbling upon the Wooden Nickel, we left unwound, happy, and with a few more friends.“
