I wish I could highlight this place as exceptional beyond what Google Maps allows. My wife and I frequently travel up and down the eastern US, making a point to slip into quirky and vibrant coffee shops. From Florida to Connecticut, this is hands down my favorite one I’ve ever been into. The atmosphere is vivacious and lively, warm and welcoming, the staff is gracious and involved and attentive, and the coffee is to absolutely die for. I wish a visit to this coffee shop on all of my favorite people in the world. 10/10

I went here for breakfast because it’s the only option in Florence. I was hoping to get the veggie supreme (veggies and vegan cream cheese on a bagel) but they said they only have prepped veggies for lunch. Okay, fine. But we did have a whole convo about me and my fiance being vegan. They upcharged us for vegan cream cheese, fine. My bagel came out first and I split it with my fiance before he decided to order a second one. When we got the second one, we noticed the cream cheese was marked “plant based” … which wasn’t case for the one I had just eaten. So despite talking to us about being vegan, up charging us for the vegan cream cheese, they still gave me regular cream cheese, which I ate — the first nonvegan food I’ve had in probably a decade. When I figured this out, I was visibly upset I guess because the staff did approach me and apologized, but the damage was done and I’ve had an upset stomach all day now. Just a massive bummer all around. I don’t want places to stop carrying vegan options, but it would be great if they educated the staff. OR, instead of only labeling the plant based cream cheese, label the dairy cream cheese as such so I would have seen the incorrect label myself. Anyway, great bagel and great coffee — if you decide to go here, just make sure you get the cream cheese labeled as plant based before eating it!

Glad that there is a local coffee shop in West Florence. Bean Bar is a great place to escape the chaos of a hectic day! I always enjoy having one of their specialty coffee (latte/mocha) drinks. Always delicious (whether served hot or iced). And the employees work hard keeping the place clean and the coffee flowing!

I'm impressed To See A Coffee Shop Making Thier Own Syrups & Fresh Brewing The Teas. ❤️ The Concept!. The Entire Staff Was So Kind & Helpful. Only Wish I Lived Closer. Thanks For The Pup Cup Too!! 🐕

Amazing coffee shop! Bean bar has a wonderful menu full of coffees and matcha, sandwiches, and more! I get something different every time i go. Today i got their Candy Cane Mocha and when i say it’s to die for 🤤 it is soooo good! Big tasty bagels and such good little cookies and treats! I love a small local business that supports local artists and is LGBTQ friendly!!! ❤️🧡💛💚🩵

Honestly, I came for the coffee and stayed for the bagel! So there is no confusion the coffee is delightful. I had a top notch coldbrew. Couldn't have asked for better. BUT the Salmon bagel.. . That was to die for. I asked that they added micro greens to it as well. Im a native New Yorker and that was hands down the best bagel with lox I've ever had!
We always stop by when we are in town. Great coffee, hiking trails right next door. The best!

Had to kill some time in Florence today while waiting on some dental work and was desperately googling cool places to hang out around here. Very lucky to have stumbled across Bean Bar. A very cozy, delicious, little, coffeeshop conveniently located off the main stretch in Florence. Even walking in with no teeth in my mouth looking wild as all get out, the ladies that served me at the counter (and recommended my drink) were absolute angels. I wish for the life of me I could remember exactly what this is but I do know it was the caramel (a more buttery style caramel but sooo good) and vanilla flavors. The foam on top was delicious and lasted through the entire drink. They're currently decked out for Halloween but I could tell that this would be a great spot for a drink and some food at any time of the year. Free WiFi and extremely clean bathrooms were also available. They also have cute merch and a variety of coffee/tea inspired machines and trinkets to go along.

I attended a wedding last night and Bean Bar was the focus of cocktail hour and let me tell you, they were a hit! Everyone was friendly and drinks were delicious. Absolutely recommend everything about Bean Bar… you won’t regret checking them out!
