This place is absolutely awesome I’m in Florence working and I found it the smash burger is great their fries are unique and delicious. The fish sandwich tastes like it was just caught this morning. The have adult milkshakes also that topped it off.

Buddy’s has quickly became one of our favorite places to eat. We were recommended by our Food Rep and it didn’t disappoint. My go to is the buddy burger and the steak chips but, my favorite thing I’ve have probably gotten was the June 2025 burger of the month, the Buddy Melt. I wish it was a regular menu item.

Holy hell, the best burger I've ever had and on a brioche bun. Their buddy sauce is unbelievable. Didn't want to venture off i95 more than a minute but the 5 mins is worth it. 1000%. Wow.

I would have added a picture, but I devoured the food before I had time to take one. It was fantastic. The bacon jam absolutely sent the burger over the top. My 6 year old loved their chicken. My 9 month old loved their fries. The only thing that was a miss for us was the coleslaw. It was good, but not a mayo based coleslaw like we expected.
Very friendly hospitality, amazing food and food was served very quickly. There steak chips are so yummy and the smash burger was chef's kiss.

The food was awesome! We'd come back any time. The ice cream was good as well, but the chocolate shake my wife got was awful. It was the consistency of chocolate milk. Apparently, my wife was too shy to say anything to the girl who made it, but that was not a milk shake. It was milk with melted ice cream in it.

Charming place with a cozy outdoor seating area — you can choose to sit under the roof near the entrance or out in the open. The staff is super polite and attentive, all young and welcoming. Everything we tried was well-prepared and tasty — definitely five stars for food quality.
Inside is clean and neat, including the restroom (just one, but it was tidy). The ordering process is a bit different than usual: you walk straight to the counter, pick a menu, order and pay there — no one seats you at a table or brings you a menu. It caught me off guard at first, but the system works efficiently.
There’s plenty of parking space, which is always a plus. My daughter lit up when she saw hot dogs on the menu — and that alone made the visit feel like a little celebration.
Overall, a lovely local spot with personality. I’d say it’s worth the visit!

BEST smash Burger we've ever had! The patties were thin and super crispy🤤🤤 the smashed steak fry things were crispy and yummy too! And the ice cream next door is all homemade with homemade fixings🤤 amazing spot all around! OH and don't skip out on the mystical Jefferies River out back across the lawn at the trees! It's like a running river swamp, super cool! Hope we get to try the brewery next time.
