Wonderful hand prepared vegan food in a very clean diner like atmosphere with friendly attentive staff (the neighboring gas station, not so much). Easy stop off I-95. Had the sampler platter, cheesesteak & layer cake. Would go again in a heartbeat.

After a 9.5 hour drive from Fort Lauderdale finding Eliza’s Vegan Cafe was a god send. I dragged my tired body over there and throughly enjoyed this great burger.

I’ll eat peanuts from the neighboring convenient store before stepping foot back in that place. Rude isn’t even the word.

After 11 hours on the road this was a perfect stop to eat. I had the chickpea and hummus wrap and my husband had the stir fry veggies with spicy sauce. I asked for a recommendation and was glad I took the advice of the staff. It was a generous portion and really good. My husband liked his dinner. It had a lot of kick. We shared an order of the sweet potato fries. We took home two slices of the homemade cake. Banana nut and carrot. If you are traveling 95 this is a quick on and off for a good meal. We will definitely be back!

We go out of our way to stop here anytime we are driving from our home in Florida up north. Will you try a different options every time and we have loved every meal! The food is amazing and very different. Every sandwich, the homemade ribs sauces, the spicy chicken. The kids love that they can get a kids meal Like a little happy meal too because obviously they don’t get McDonald’s Happy meals. The desserts are absolutely amazing! We get extra and bring a cooler to take some home with us, the cakes and the cheesecakes. The staff is always so so so friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this place.

The BEST vegan food we’ve had. I’m from the South but live out West now and I miss good southern food so much. I’m now vegan and always trying to find new southern vegan spots when we’re traveling. Definitely stop here. My cheesesteak was better than “real” steak and my partner’s mushroom melt was delicious! The serving sizes are large (as we do) and definitely worth what we paid.

Oh, and the folks working there are the sweetest!

We’ll be back on another roadtrip for sure. Thank you! ☺️

Thrilled to have discovered this all vegan restaurant deep in BBQ country. We shared the rib sandwich and the BBQ chicken platter. The ribs were delicious tofu -- charred and sauced perfectly on a tasty roll. The BBQ chicken legs were so like chicken texture and taste - can't remember the last time I needed a toothpick! The menu is varied and according to the other diners that were there everything is great. One gentleman said he's not vegan but he stops there for food 2x a week when he drives through Florence.

Eliza's juices are yummy and unusual. We had the ginger tea (spicy and refreshing, not too sweet!) and a coconut dragon fruit combination that is more like a fruit smoothie.

Whatever you do, don't skip dessert! Eliza's array of vegan cakes are impressive and it's hard to choose. We had the orange cream and a pineapple coconut that the owner said is her favorite. They were both amazing and I'm glad we splurged!

Just by luck I got to meet the owner and she is just a delight! She clearly loves to offer people her homemade vegan dishes based on her grandmother's recipes. We will definitely be back!!

My girlfriend and I were traveling through SC and were happily surprised to see a Vegan restaurant right off of the highway so we stopped in. I’ve been vegan for 15 years and I swear to you I haven’t had better food or service in any other establishment in the entire United States. Everything we ordered was unbelievably delicious. Portions were massive and fairly priced. But honestly what was most enjoyable was the friendly atmosphere. The lady who made our food was so kind and the owner even came out and sat with us while we ate and we enjoyed a beautiful conversation with her. We will make a point to drive in from out of state to visit again 100%. Thank you so much for what you do for your community. Miss Eliza is looking on you from paradise extremely proud of what you’ve built in her honor. Thank you again see you soon!

Absolutely amazing! Would 100% recommend this to anyone and stop in next time I am traveling past.

I got a chickpea hummus pita. Everything was so incredibly fresh and the owner is so proud of her business!

Definitely get their homemade limeade it’s incredible.

They even gave me a bowl of water for my dog! 😁

Come to Eliza's Vegan Cafe for great vibes and fantastic food! Eliza's the grandmother of today's owner, Markeisha, who is simply wonderful!

The welcoming and joy-filled service is felt as soon as you enter! The menu is diverse, prepared in a timely manner and soooo delicious. I had the gluten free Mediterranean Burger and some cookie bites. Every bite is scrumptious. Don’t even think twice about pulling off the interstate and dining at Eliza’s. Healthy and flavorful options for all - even those who are not yet vegan :0)
