We stopped here on a road trip due to the reviews expecting a decent Italian meal. We are well traveled internationally and this is one the best meals we have ever had. My wife and I went to the pre-Thanksgiving dinner Wednesday night. From the offered menu my wife chose the prime rib with roasted potatoes. I opted for the salmon in lemon butter sauce with roasted potatoes. We both had the Ceasars salad. Prior to the salad we were brought bread with olive oil and a soft chef made butter that was out of this world. All of our food was cooked to our perfection and very delicious. This was our first time at this Italian restaurant, IL Buongustaio. My girlfriend and I say for thirty minutes for our caprese salad. A different server than ours brought us bread. My girlfriend ordered the lasagna and it was fast from good. I ordered the saltimbocca and it was a poor expression of the dish.
