I went to the bakery that's connected to it not Jack's. The bakery has delicious cupcakes I got 4 different flavors I believe orange cream sicle ,vanilla, chocolate with caramel sauce and a pecan on top it was soooo good! Strawberry was also. They all were. It is pricey I think it was 3 or 3.50 a piece which was a bit much but they do have wonderful cupcakes !

Me, my husband. And family came to Jack’s for my birthday. Food was delicious, service was great my waitress Brittany was awesome! Made sure we were taken care of at all times, kept our drinks filled, checked on us several times. Made sure I got a cupcake for my birthday! I recommend Brittany. Will come back for sure.

Very good food, friendly staff, and very clean. The only thing I didn't like, is there is NO dessert bar on the buffet. Do better Jack's, cause I, like many others, love dessert after our meal.

Food was ok on the buffet , but if I went back again I would definitely order off the menu. The bakery inside is the bomb though.... worth the visit just to get dessert from the counter on the right when you walk in the door.

This place is terrible. They say best BBQ in town, well I recommend going to a different one if that is the best anyone has to over in Florence. I will detail why i feel this is a bad restaurant.Upon arrival, we were seated in a booth and ordered our drinks. There were two elderly couples inside already eating, no one else. 10-15 minutes later the waiter took our order. I had to ask for another drink because my cup was very dirty and had food on it. The second cup was not clean either, but better. Another man came in and his order was placed and he received his food before us. We waited 35 minutes to get our food.The food came and the fries my family ordered were all cold. I ordered a loaded baked potato without sour cream, I received a baked potato with only sour cream. I then received a baked potato with nothing on it. Then I received my correct order, but the baked potato did not seem to be fully cooked. ALL of the food was extremely flavorless and bland.They did not even have any salt and pepper shakers. We had to keep trying to flag down our waitress, but she was so focused on the elderly couples who already had their food. She only checked on us once, after the two elderly couples left. Our food was supposed to come with sauce, but it did not and I had to actually get up out of my seat and hunt down someone to bring sauce, even though at this point there was only me and my two family members and another gentleman in the restaurant.The cleanliness of the restaurant is appalling. As I said, my cups were dirty. The menus were also greasy. The table was sticky, and the bathroom was disgusting. Looking around the place while waiting on my food, it became clear that the restaurant needs a DEEP cleaning badly.Next is the fact that someone left a review here complaining about how the owner’s daughter treated an employee in front of customers (yelling etc.). The owners daughter actually commented back and essentially said enjoy eating elsewhere at the end. You do not yell at your employees in front of customers over unsatisfactory behavior. It should be handled privately and it is clear that this establishment has poor business etiquette.Lastly, the food is very overpriced. They charge insane prices for food that is absolutely flavorless, as well as to have such bad service and wait times. When I went up to go pay, the hostess “asked how was everything”? and I told her that I was displeased and would not be coming back. She literally said “okay, that’s fine”. Very bad experience. I wanted to try a new place, but I will stick to Wholly Smokin’. They actually have flavorful food and good service. The owner even came out and asked how we liked things and thanked us for eating at his restaurant when I ate there last year before covid.

The hamburger steak with mushroom gravy and onions is really good my rack of ribs were a little over cooked last time now the ribeye medium rare is pretty damn good

Jack's Place near MUSC is a true hidden gem in Florence.It is a family owned, non Franchise restaurant.They have excellent burgers and a lunch buffett Th-Sat.My favorite is the Wimpy hamburger steak. It comes with chili and cheese.Besure to check out the tasty cakes next door as well.
