We had a call in order.2 shrimp boxes and a liver/ gizzard combo box .I live around 8-10 minutes away.Familys Shrimp,fries, and slaw was fine.My liver and gizzard box look so good when I opened the box.I always get some out the box and put on a plate for myself.I was so sick , I tried to pick up a handful of the gizzards and livers they were all stuck together and they were raw with blood coming out of them. I think when they put them in the fryer they did not get done but they were all stuck together in one big clump. I did not call and complain, it was around 7:30 I was not going back and my appetite was gone.

Last Saturday afternoon, I ordered a flounder dinner plate from Jumping Js. Unfortunately, about an hour after eating it, I became extremely sick. My stomach was in severe pain, and I ended up vomiting. The pain was so intense that I even considered going to the hospital. I went to bed early and woke up the next day feeling slightly better, but my stomach was still sore.
I’ve eaten at this restaurant before and had no issues—I previously got a burger and fries, and everything was fine. However, this recent experience with the flounder was very concerning, and I wanted to share my feedback.

I had the flounder and chips. The flounder could have had a little more meat to it, but it was fine as far as flavor. I couldn't eat the french fries, because they were over fried and cold. The tea was good though. I think in the case of the freeze being an edible the price was a little high. The one piece of flounder and fries plus a little bit of coleslaw was around $15.

Our visit was 21 Dec 2024. We had 7 kids & 3 adults for lunch. The food was good. They keep the environment cleaned & wiped down. Staff were professional, in a safe area. They provide nice size plates. Only problem was the unavailability to buy separate additional sides without buying a whole plate and macaroni and cheese looked like it was boxed kraft, but kids liked it.
Kid-friendliness: Has plates for kids.

Update: I will say that things have improved since this visit as of Nov. 1st, 2024. Although this episode should have never happened, at least your products and service have improved. TP Flippa deserves some credit for that.
You dropped the ball today (Jan. 12, 2021) Jumpin J's. Enough so, I must comment on my experience.
I patron your restaurant quite regularly and have been for years. Occasionally my order may sway a little left or right of center but for the most, always correct and delicious. Not today.
First, my bacon double cheeseburger had no bacon. Also, whomever assembled my burger started to put ketchup on it, then realized it wasn't supposed to and proceeded to scrape it off. Well you left some and I HATE KETCHUP. Burger King does this all the time (they don't bother to remove it and just get your order wrong). I expect this from Burger King but not Jumpin J's. Was it too much to just get a new top bun? As much as all your customers pay for their food, I think not.
I did call when I realized there was no bacon and the ketchup incident. I was asked to bring my burger back. REALLY? Also, I was told I had to be there by 9:25 and it was already 9:05. I was home and not going back out and had already taken two or three bites once my dilemma was realized. I didn't even mention the fries were not fresh and tasted like they had been cooked prior to my order being placed. Also, the onion rings were drenched in grease like they were cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough. I was willing to let that go but since I was provoked to leave a negative review, I might as well mention it all. OH! One more thing. While I was waiting at one of the pull-up spots, I realized I forgot to ask for honey mustard. I called the restaurant while waiting for my order and asked the lady to please include some while letting her know who I was and what spot I was waiting. Well guess what, no honey mustard. Didn't mention that either when I called about the burger.
So, I hope one can see why I feel justified in leaving this review. I do hope you aren't setting a new standard with your business like so many other businesses have chosen to do. This could have all been handled with that one phone call. I think I'll give you guys a break for a while.

Love everyone there! Great classic place to eat in florence! I've done their flowers there every season for 8 years. Such a wholesome experience knowing everyone at Jumpin J's! They're like family!
