This place is a Sunday night favor for my wife and I. It’s more authentic than most Mexican restaurants and absolutely a favorite of the locals. Very good Carnitas and Carne Asada and truthfully, we’ve never had anything that we didn’t care for. My absolute favorite is there green taco sauce, the only place I know I can find it in town.
Im not sure why the rating here isn’t higher. We are locals and eat here frequently and this restaurant is one of only a few places that have been extremely consistent with food quality. Not only that but their recipes and cooking ability is superior to any of the typical Mexican places. I’m assuming people want a particular atmosphere or perhaps there have been issues as admittedly they seem to run on a small staff. Having much restaurant experience I can look past that personally....
