It’s a family own restaurant that serves well seasoned real country soul food. If you like to feel like you’re in your grandmother’s kitchen then you’re at the right place. They serves pigtails, oxtails, smothered hamburger and beef liver, turkey wings, fried chicken, pork chops, stew chicken. You can imagine whats the sides are! Macaroni, collards, rice, green beans, corn, cabbage, cornbread etc. They also serves desserts like different types cakes squares and for drinks they have Pepsi soft drinks, sweet tea, lemonade and kool- aid (different flavors).
Nice local mom and pop place to get some good food. The building may look a bit run down, but the people are amazing and the food is very good
Really good food. Ranch wings were awesome.
Bought a hot dog. Not very tasty. Very strong smell. Customer service staff was very patient ... Worth 5 points.
Food was so splendid good and it was just how i wanted it. The staff was so kind and generous. I will really recommend this restaurant.
Delicious Soul Food made with love! Daily Specials from served -for-you buffet are the key. We had fried chicken, oxtails with rice and gravy, lima beans, field peas and best-ever Mac ‘n’ cheese and collards. We took ours to go as it seemed most people do.

This recent arrival is a welcome addition to eating options in this part of Folly road. We stopped by for Saturday lunch, prompted by several positive comments on social media. We were not disappointed. The restaurant has several types of seating, well spaced out. Service is friendly, efficient and unobtrusive. The menu offers a good variety from which to choose and we found our meals tasty, well prepared and well presented. We left thinking the restaurant was in the nands of people who now how to make it work well. We will definitely be back
This was the first time to eat here for all of us. I had the crab cake entree. The crab cakes were greasy, the red rice was slightly al dente but the squash was good. My husband and one of our friends had the seafood gumbo and the veggies in the dish were not cooked completely otherwise the dish was OK. Our other friend had the shrimp and grits and she said it was great.
We had a fabulous dinner at Florence’s. We started with the Hot Shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was crispy and the sauce was sweet and spicy and melted in your mouth. I had the seafood pasta with 2 pieces of garlic bread. The bread was warm, buttery, and soft. The pasta dish had scallops and shrimp. This was yummy! My wife had the Side Dish— sautéed squash and onions, rice, and Gouda Mac & Cheese. It was all fabulous! The manager (Madeline) checked on us several times to make sure we were taken care of. She was a southern sweetheart with a warm heart and a sparkling smile. We’ll be back soon!
