First time I’ve been since new management. Bartender is friendly and very fast. Ordered Chicken And Shrimp Fettuccine and Chicken Leo takeout. Food was delicious. So happy that the experience and food are back like original Red Bone of years ago. Great job new owners!
First time stopping by and had a very good experience. Tried the prime rib and really enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Terrible !! My family had a surprise birthday party for me and bad experience for all. Took over an hour and half for several to get our food. Half the table had finished eating before the other half got their food. Some got their entree and finished eating before they even got their salad. Most of food was cold when we received it. They said they had to put it on one ticket and couldn’t give individual tickets. Had to ask over and over for things. They were not busy and now I see why. The servers were nice and apologized for us having to wait. They will not stay in business like this. Management needs to do better.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not for upstairs where party room is. No elevator.

Zach was the best server. I took my elderly mother and he helped us with menu and made her day special.

I have been going here since I was young and it definitely holds nostalgic place in my heart! Very fun environment, also there is an ice-cream truck and small arcade for children to visit. Affordable as well!

Pretty disappointed, went here for date night which we usually do once a week and i dont know what the host was thinking.. when you have 4 groups with several young children- why in the world would you also seat couples right next to the play area instead of the families whos children are using the play areas right? Little to no thought going into the seating arrangements ruined our night, made the couple next to us leave without getting food, and ruined the parents nights too. By no means did we intend to be rude but Our waiter couldn’t even hear us when trying to take our order because of the screaming children behind us..so we asked to move but it soured the evening entirely.. I think it’s fantastic that they have a play area and from across the restaurant it looks beautiful- But why would you seat couples trying to have an enjoyable and peaceful date night that do not have children next to all the screaming children and the designated play area?
We were there trying to enjoy our night and I would’ve stayed for a bottle of wine, dessert and a lot more, but we ended up taking our two steaks to go most of our appetizers to go and even our salads because it was not enjoyable at all. The food is why we always come back, but I don’t think we will be returning after this.. I thought it was being a little irrational, but when we literally could not communicate because of screaming children - And the parents were mortified and embarrassed because of the hostess seating them halfway across the restaurant, making them scream at their child… then couples started leaving without ordering that where in our area- i mean none of us in that section deserved the lack of thought and care to ruin our evening.. It just wasn’t a good environment to be in & we will not be returning for date night ever again

Last night I was treated at this restaurant for my birthday and I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed "EVERYTHING" the Chicken Alfredo dish was served hot and in abundance, my garden salad was bursting w/flavor and our waiter "Ezekiel" was extremely well manner, astute young man who is a credit to this establishment. I highly recommend this restaurant!

It has been several years since we've been here, and was one of our favorites. This time was different. The restaurant itself is quite charming, with inside being disguised as the outside.
When we entered, the hostess was in the process of sitting another table. She seemed a little out of sorts, although the restaurant wasn't busy at this point. We were seated within a few minutes in the back corner of what I'd describe as the "kid section." It has the ice cream truck and a little play area. Mind you, we're two adults with a 14 year old. The section quickly filled with other large families with young children and became a little noisy, with us ending up feeling forgotten.
Our waitress took the drink and appetizer order and let us know she would put the bread in the oven for us. When the bread arrived, it wasn't even warm. The honey butter was also a little too sweet for me.
Next, the appetizers. The Nashville Hot chicken came out barely luke warm, but the flavor was delicious. Star of the show were the pickles! They were tender, sweet, spicy, and buttery. My stuffed pastry was piping hot and very tasty IF you like cream cheese. It was very reminiscent of chicken salad. They were also LARGE. Definitely a shareable!
The entrees are where this all really started to fall apart. My husband initially ordered the pork chop. After all orders were placed (cheeseburger for my son and shrimp tacos for me), the waitress comes back and days they're out of the pork chop. Wish we had known that sooner. Backup for him was the hamburger steak.
Cheeseburger was ordered with ketchup only, it arrived with everything on it. Shrimp tacos were limp and light on toppings, and the hamburger steak came with a tiny amount of sautéed onions and mushrooms compared to how it was described, also, no gravy. Apparently, that costs extra? I guess we missed that. My salad was forgotten, and the potatoes were unseasoned.
We finished our food before we saw our waitress again. No refills during that time. I did speak with the waitress and she tried to offer a free dessert. I let her know that wasn't necessary, but she did comp two drinks without me knowing and provided drinks to go.

I am local and have eaten at Redbone many times over the years. Me, my wife and my 14 year old daughter decided to eat dinner here for my daughter's birthday. We went early on a Thursday around 4pm. Obviously, it was not busy at the time. The restaurant is still in nice shape and clean. It recently changed ownership within the past few months so we were curious to try it out and see if there were any menu changes. For the most part, the menu was the same with maybe a couple of different items I did not recognize. The staff was very friendly and the service was good and prompt. However, we were disappointed in the quality of the food. The food came out warm, so no issues there. First off the bread came out and it was warm but obviously microwaved because the bread became hard on the edges as bread often does when microwaved. I ordered the "bubba burger" which was a burger with carmelized onions and pimento cheese on the burger with a side of fries. Very disappointed in the burger as far as quality and taste. For $15 this was a very small burger that rivaled the size of a basic Mcdonald's burger. The patty tasted like it had been leftover and reheated in the microwave. The burger did not have great flavor. Five Guy's or even Mcdonald's would have been better. The fries were nice and warm and crunchy. My wife got the shrimp and grits. The grits were dry and not creamy like they used to be. The shrimp were fried which was different from in years past where they were seasoned or blackened. She was disappointed in her dish as well. My daughter got the shrimp alfredo. It tasted bland, the alfredo sauce tasted like heavy whipping cream and no additional flavor. The shrimp were cooked very well but lacked flavor. All in all very disappointed in a meal that cost us $75 which really lacked flavor and obviously microwaved some things when it was not a busy time and could have been made more fresh.

The chicken strip meal I ordered was mid if that. Right before the food came out was told they were out of bbq sauce. If I was told this when I had ordered I would’ve ordered something else instead of having to eat with a sauce I didn’t want.

Red Bone Alley is a local gem with a unique setup and great Southern food. Their BBQ and seafood options are fantastic, and the service is always friendly. A solid choice for a taste of the South in Florence.
