Went here this past Sunday and while the food was okay, the service is really what made us stay and enjoy ourselves! Our waitress, Heather and her daughter Haley, made us feel like family and that they had known us for years! Will be coming back simply for the good southern hospitality shown to us in our visit.

This place needs to be shut down! It used to be a town staple when Rob owned it. Now since Dori has taken over it has really went downhill. The food is gross not meant for human consumption. The service is lacking at best! The building has so much mold that it is a very unsafe environment. Also there are huge rats in the kitchen eating holes in all of the bags of seafood breader. There was roaches all over the place because of filth. I hope that a better owner takes over and restores the place to the way it should be.

if i could give this place 0 stars i would. me and my family went this weekend and the service was terrible. heather was our server and she was all over the place. the dude with the long black hair and glass at the front wasn’t a very pleasant person. this place used to be so good but i don’t know what happened. really hope they could get better in the future!

I was in the area looking for some barbecue and this was the closest spot with the best reviews. They did not disappoint. Food was finger licking good. The guy that waited on me had a great sense of humor. We had a good laugh about the confusion of my order and another order with a similar name. I would recommend

It was really nice. I worked there 20 years ago and I was just visiting, but the owner then, when I worked there, sold the restaurant. But, it was nice to know the place still in business.
Roger’s BBQ has always been a favorite from my childhood, and I make it a point to visit every time I’m in Florence. I love their half-and-half plate! However, on my last visit, I ordered takeout and was a bit disappointed – the flavor was off, and the portion size felt smaller than usual. I’ll definitely be back and hope they can redeem themselves next time.
Passing through so we stopped for dinner. The buffet was terrible. Nothing marked. The catfish was fried whole with head on. Food looked and tasted like it had been sitting for hours. The sweet potatoes were ok. Cornbread was ok. Pulled pork was good. Desserts were not restocked. I am not sure what was up with the Mac and cheese but it looked like pasta with dry shredded cheese on top? Not southern, at all. Most of the seafood was dried out. Didn't try the fried or BBQ chicken. The food was actually a step down from a golden corral. Also, and not the restaurants fault, everyone kept walking past us and staring at my husband. I get it, we aren't locals but gees, go stare at other people. One lady even stopped in front of our table to stare. Uncomfortable situation for sure. We will stick with chains in this town.

It's a AYCE buffet! Great fried chicken, BBQ chicken and bbq ribs. Plenty of sides and dessert too!
