My husband and I had his Birthday, and our Wedding Anniversary gathering there. The food was not to my liking at all. And some of our guests did not like the food either. I am so disappointed because the total cost of the bill was $436.45. Wow! What a loss! I spoke with a manager and basically was told there was nothing that could be done. Okay. Lesson learned. My suggestion: taste first. God bless y’all!

STOPPED ON OUR WAY TO A CRUISE OUT OF CHARLESTON SC. LISA WAS OUR SERVER AND SHE HAD A GREAT PERSONALITY AND NEVER LET US RUN LOW ON DRINKS. WE STOPPED AGAIN ON OUR WAY BACK TO HOME. WE REQUESTED HER AGAIN AND SHE REMEMBERED US AND THANKED US FOR REQUESTING HER. SHE HAD A AWESOME PERSONALITY AND EASY TO TALK TO AND JOKE AROUND WITH. WILL DEFINITELY EAT THERE AGAIN WHEN IN TOWN. It has been decades since I have eaten at Shoney's. Tonight, coming from a long trip, took a chance and was absolutely thrilled. Breakfast buffet or place an order from the menu. It was not crowded. Service was excellent. I haven't eaten like that in ages. I could barely walk out of the restaurant. Just like a tick. Our waitress was as sweet and considerate as she could be. She made us laugh and feel at home. And the price was not too bad. So, Shoney's, thank you. God bless you all.

The burger was raw this place is pathetic the waitress said they fuss if she gives out too many napkins. The waitress was great. It seemed like they had her doing everything but whoever cooked that burger heres a hint for you when you smash it if the juices come out red not clear then clearly its not done and Im not a vampire. I will be contacting the local health department next week I could of gotten food poison from this and gotten really sick or even could have died.

My husband said his sirloin steak was the worst he's ever had - it was overdone, chewy, and fatty. My Mushroom Swiss Chicken didn't include any mushrooms. The salad was the best part of our meal. When we were asked about our meal, no one responded to the issues or did anything to fix it. The restaurant is outdated and the buffet foods looked very dried out.
