I had one of the most unpleasant experiences at the Starbucks in Florence, SC. The store was absolutely disgusting from the moment I walked in.
Flies Everywhere: Flies were buzzing around both the lobby and behind the counter, making it feel unsanitary and unappetizing.
Smelly Water in the Lobby: Dirty, smelly water was literally pouring into the lobby from behind the line, creating a foul odor that hit you as soon as you entered.
Dirty Uniforms: Several baristas were wearing visibly dirty aprons, which didn’t inspire any confidence in the cleanliness of the drinks being made.
Bathrooms in Terrible Condition: The bathrooms were filthy and clearly neglected. They looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time.
Overwhelming Stench: The entire store had an overpowering stench that made it difficult to stay inside long enough to order.
Poor Management: All of this points to severe mismanagement. It’s clear there’s little oversight or pride being taken in maintaining even basic cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Overall, this location is in desperate need of attention from corporate. It doesn’t reflect the Starbucks brand at all, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone stop here until these issues are properly addressed

They messed up my drink at the drive-through, so I went inside to have it fixed. Ended up waiting 20 minutes — 30 minutes total for one iced latte. Ridiculous! And after all that, it still tastes like garbage. The matcha is clumpy and tastes nothing like I’m used to at other Starbucks.

This is a frequent stop of mine, and it’s typically while I’m exhausted & grumpy. But me tell you…I always leave in way better mood than what I came because of how friendly the majority of their staff are. One in particular, Leo (a woman with dark hair and glasses) has such an amazing and warm presence every time I pull into the drive thru. She rocks and deserves a raise! :)

This location, especially the AM crew , is amazing! The energy and work culture is phenomenal here. I've been sitting here, writing a paper for my management class since 6am, so I witnessed the calm before the storm. Let me tell you, they never missed a beat, working like a well oiled machine. Besides the fact that the coffee is always on point. They didn't falter when the abundance of orders were flowing in. Greeting every guest, some even by name. This is truly one of the best Starbucks I've seen.

Unfortunately there are political flags hanging in the dining area. However, staff was great, fast, and accurate!
Very nice set up, cashier was wonderful!
