On September 24, 2025 around 7:30 AM, I visited the Starbucks on Lucas Street in Florence, South Carolina.

I attempted to order a Medicine Ball (Honey Citrus Mint Tea), but I never received my drink. The cashier, Lauren, refused to accept my $100 bill — which was the only form of payment I had with me. While I understand that smaller bills are often preferred, the way it was handled was very unprofessional. The bill was handed back to me with a negative attitude, leaving me embarrassed and upset.

What was most disappointing is that Starbucks has a standard to “Make the Moment Right” when situations like this arise. Instead of finding a solution (such as offering the drink it was thrown away. I was simply turned away. I left without the drink I really needed, and with a very poor impression of this store’s service.

Imaging a public toilet you had to eat from. Now you get an idea how appealing this Starbucks is. Pee on the floors in bathroom. So gross

Had to wait in drive thru line for 20 mins. The person in front of us had only ordered one drink and we ordered online. That is ridiculous. Also, writing this so I remember to never stop at this location ever again!!!

I placed an order on the drive thru and they got it wrong. They added 5 pumps of sugar. We drove back and ask them to replace it and they just added milk.

Had a call in order for my daughter. We had no wait, and they had her drink ready to go when we got there. Im not a fan of their prices, but my daughter likes their coffee so when she asks for one I normally take her to the location. If they were cheaper I could take her more often, just cant afford to go all the time, once or twice a week is fine tho, never ahd a bad drink or order form here yet.

This was a convenience stop off of I-95 while traveling north.... Headed around to the drive-thru with no line thank goodness drinks were made correctly and quickly by a friendly barista who wished us good travels on the rest of our journey.
If the drinks are made correctly and the wait time is relatively quick it's a five star for me.

I always come here in the morning since it’s on my way to work. Stop yesterday morning for my drink and a grilled cheese. The lady working the window rushed me thru my order. When I finally got to the window she give me my drink and there was no coffee in it! I asked if there was any coffee in here she said “I think so” then proceeds to shut the window. If I’m paying $7 almost $8 on a drink I would like it to be right. I will be going out of my way to go to a different location. It use to be so good. What the hell happened?

This store is quite a large store right off I95. The food was good, like other Starbucks stores. The staff was friendly and efficient. I got my coffee and food and was right back out on I95 heading towards the beach!

Barista rolled her eyes because I walked in at 8:50 and they close at 9pm. I’m going a 13 hour drive with a toddler. Why is it an issue that I came in for some caffeine. Then the drink was disgusting. Need new management.

I ordered a Grande Carmel macchiato hot. What I received was a small size in the cup. I called the store immediately. I asked to speak with a manager. When the person supposedly the manager came to the phone. I introduced myself and asked who I was speaking with. The female on the other line refused her name and asked me why I was calling.
