My boyfriend and I came to grab some seafood here today. We are from out of town and we wanted some seafood. We were greeted and seated immediately but within 15 minutes we watched at least 6 of the staff just stand and talk or singing along to the music behind the counter. We were never asked what we wanted to drink and eventually I went back to the front to the staff member who seated us. He asked what I needed and I said to place our order, he walked away to go towards the bar but at that point if no one wanted to serve us, I didn’t feel comfortable eating. Definitely get your food to go because I heard it’s good or you’ll tip for bad service.

Saw the billboards on the interstate so decided to stop for lunch during our travels-Walked into an empty restaurant only to be told there was a fifteen minute wait for a table. We skipped, assuming they must have been short staffed and slow. Maybe call ahead to see if there is availability before heading here. Especially if you are taking a detour from your road trip.
My wife and I used to love this place. The food was great, and the service was fantastic. The last time we ate here the service was a bit slower, but it was still passable. Cut to our most recent visit...We were greeted by a hostess who was on the phone and didn't acknowledge us for a solid 5 minutes. When she did finally speak, she said "there are three groups ahead of you to be seated." Fun fact. Two of those groups were waiting on pick-up orders. That were late.We were told the wait time was 20 to 25 minutes. After 35 minutes, I looked in the dining area, and saw almost every table and booth empty. There were three groups of diners eating. Clearly there are staffing issues in all areas.

The place is very small so the wait is long. We decided to do take out. The cashier didn't seem pleased. We all got the pasta but weren't satisfied. It was greasy and that's pretty much what constituted sauce. There was no other sauce on it. Im the only one in the group who didn't like seafood and there were very few options. It was very pricey. I will probably not go back.

I ordered mussels with shrimp and a side of black mussels. The food was delicious. I also shared an appetizer of chicken tenders which were really good but under seasoned a little. The service was excellent

Our waitress Ty, was polite and very knowledgeable of the menu. We had a large crowd (17), and she remained patient and pleasant.
I used to frequent this restaurant until November 5th 2023. We were a party of 14 to celebrate a birthday. They said they didn’t have a table for 14 people so we sat in 3 booths in spread across the room. Don’t get me wrong the food is good. The waitress gave out the receipts. When we went to pay the owner tried to give us different receipts charging almost double stating that more than 6 people pay an extra gratuity. One of the 14 was an infant so it was actually 13 people. It was 5 per table not 6. The owner knew what he was doing was wrong because the lowlife says sorry to do this. Racial profiling. Here comes Florence County Police. We are all gainfully employed. The owner tells the LEO what happened. Bravo to FCPD. The officer told the owner “ you called me out here for this?”. “You can’t change the price because you feel like it and where’s your sign stating that you charge extra ?” They’re paying the price on the first receipt and that’s it. They have lost some loyal customers. They didn’t have a problem with the color of our money but our skin. Wake up people ?
