While this is a chain restaurant, food was pretty decent. Had the Fried pickles, which were huge! I had the crunch Chicken Sandwich w/fries which were good. My husband had the pick 3 which were Red beans & Rice, Jambalaya, and Chicken and Sausage Gumbo. He liked them all. If you ask they will give you a small sample to try on the gumbo's. Waitress was very pleasant and place seemed very clean. Prices were very reasonable.
My waitress Mikayla was the best me and my son decided to sit in for dinner. was not going to dine in at first didn't see that many people inside but I'm glad I went there the food was awesome the service was awesome the price was awesome it's been a long time since I've been able to have all three good service good price good food and the waitress she was the best kept coming checking on us not being aggravating but she made sure to come and check and a lotta waitress they don't do that and also again the food was delicious man if you ever in South Carolina by 95 Florence man check them out man you will love it
I've been here twice and I really recommend this place, the food is excellent ? ? the service is great, prices too, the place is clean. Family-friendly place.
Kid-friendliness: Place is great to eat with kids, high chairs available, and food choices for little ones like French fries.
A franchise that should be in every state!! This small restaurant with modest ambience has the best Cajun food I’ve had in years!!! Including being in New Orleans for the 2022 Mardi Gras!! They start out offering a tasting of 5 of their “treats”. ALL we’re great! Red beans/sausage, crawfish ettouffe, seafood gumbo, chicken/sausage gumbo and lobster bisque were all excellent. The lobster bisque kicks butt on the best I’ve had, including some of the “famous” restaurants ie, the Chart House!! The deep fried oysters were soft, clean and delicious. The catfish was moist and flavorful. The breading on all was crisp, perfectly spiced and not oily; PERFECT!! I wish there was one of these on Long Island NY!!!! Bravo to the corporation and of course to the owner/chef!!
Excellent restaurant. We were a group of 7 with 2 kids. They offered us taste samples to help us decide our order. The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff was kind and helpful. The manager came to our table to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. A must if you are in the region
Well, so glad to have found the Lost Cajun - we will never lose this restaurant!!! I forgot to take a picture of our dinner - it smelt so good and looked so good - we just dug right in!
We enjoyed our lunch at the The Lost Cajun. It was nice to have something other than the usual fast food offerings. We both had the gumbo and it was delicious. We also indulged in an order of beignets for dessert. And while they probably aren't as good as you get in New Orleans, we enjoyed them. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean. There was a large group (12, I think) when we arrives with lots of little kids. And you know how messy littles ones can be. As soon as they left the staff was sweeping the floor and wiping the tables and chairs. We will definitely stop here on future trips.
We had the Cajun chicken Alfredo. It was outstanding! It was the right consistency which is hard for some restaurants to get.
Very flavorful Cajun food on a NOLA motif. Service was very pleasant and attentive. A small sampler is available prior to ordering. The Zydeco shrimp Po boy and lobster bisque combo was very enjoyable. Some items were not available as noted by the server, including, unfortunately, the shrimp and grits, after ordering, and being told by the kitchen.
The food is excellent! I had the shrimp and grits and it was wonderful. Please stop by this restaurant and ask for Mikayla! She is to e best!

The restaurant is a small pleasant place. Music was perfect and not too loud. I sampled several items. The lobster bisque was very rich and well seasoned. The gumbo had a perfect kick of seasoning and the beans and rice were delicious. The food was excellent. The waitress Gigi was very helpful and friendly. Great customer service!
Of course if you're experienced in New Orleans food you know the critiquing can be opinionated. Overall the staff was friendly for my take out. I ordered boudin balls as appetizer and jambalaya. The boudin balls were tasty but maybe a minute or so overcooked as they were dark brown. They were smaller than what I'm use to but to be fair they gave me about 6-8 so for an appetizer serving i can say that made the difference. The jambalaya was definitely not the New Orleans special. It was like cajun rice from Bojangles except a bit more spicy . The bread that came with it seems like it was heated up to melt the butter but not toasted, just a saturated piece of butter bread. If you just want a taste of something different then yeah you can try them out.
First time dining at the Lost Cajun. We loved getting to sample the bisque, jambalaya, red beans etc! It was all delicious! We went with the lobster bisque and the shrimp & grits... Highly recommend both. Great food, service and atmosphere!!
Walked in after hours on the road and was greeted by a friendly lady and seated immediately.Next..I was handed some of the best sweet tea I have ever had within 60 seconds.Server was friendly and prompt explaining the different favors and brought a sample platter.I ordered the Red beans and rice with sausage and my super picky girlfriend ordered the lobster bisque. My order was absolutely delicious and I ate way too much of the huge portion.Girlfriend loved hers. Server brought me a second sweet tea without being asked.Excellent overall experience with zero complaints.None.Edit..Failed to mention that restaurant was extremely clean and orderly looking.
The service here is amazing. Refills on your table without even asking before your drinks are gone. The samplers was a great touch. I loved being able to select a favorite according to my palate. Great place for kids. Loud with cajun music so the kids noise wasn't disruptive. The waitress was so sweeeet!
