First time visiting Florence, SC and chose Tubb’s based on online reviews. Glad we did! The fried flounder with hush puppies and sides of Brussel Sprouts (tastiest I have had in a long time!) and Hoppin’ John soup (Southern classic) were all excellent. (Photo). Caution: the large portion is LARGE. My wife had fried shrimp with fries and slaw - she was very pleased. Our waitress Kelly was a true professional: quick to answer questions, open to make recommendations (which we were glad we asked) and showed genuine concern for us as customers. Thanks, Kelly!

I’d give 10 stars if possible! Wow the food was just amazing & our server went above & beyond. The owner introduced himself & asked about our experience. They give a nice veteran discount as well. We will absolutely eat here again!
Food was amazing! We stopped here in our travels from NY to Florida. The reviews did not disappoint. The crab cake entree was out of this world, shrimp and fish were fresh and delicious. We ordered take out with our 3 kids and everyone was satisfied.Kid-friendliness: Many options for kids
Honestly, this is a great place!The food was top notch and reasonably priced.Staff was absolutely wonderful and provided some of the best customer service I've gotten in the midlands.I only marked the atmosphere as 4/5 because the 3 TVs in the bar section aren't put in logical spaces. (It's extremely hard to enjoy sports from the bar.) Also they didn't have Hulu/ESPN+ so you cannot watch the Charleston Battery games.I will be going back here next time I'm in Florence. And if you haven't tried it yet I would highly recommend you try Tubbs ASAP!

Very local restaurant that does it very well. Servers were very nice. The seafood “combo 2 or 3” platter was well done (ask for the remoulade sauce). Grits and cheese were tasty. Highly recommend this place. We were just driving through, local hotel — consider ourselves lucky to have found it.

We were passing through Florence on our way back home to Georgia and googled places to eat. Boy, are we glad we chose Tubb’s! McKenzie was a prompt, attentive, and friendly server. The food was quick, delicious, and prepared well. The prices were reasonable, based on the quality and servings. On our way out the door, we met the owner who shook our hands and asked about our experience. He thanked us for the words of praise and sent us out the door with huge smiles on our faces. If we are ever back in Florence, we will be sure stop by again!
