Great spot to check out if you’re driving through town and need some food. Area was quiet but when you entered this place it was packed. Good food and live music. Wings were good.
Stopped in to grab a drink and a to-go order. Must have drink is the Midnight Sin..thank me later! I ordered wings that came with celery and banana pudding. The wings were good but it was hard to pick up the smoked flavor but I liked that they were smoked/grilled and not fried. They make the banana pudding to order and it does have bananas in it along with vanilla wafers, both of which make for a true banana pudding to me (I asked first to be sure). I waited until the next day...
We went to Florence to visit some friends and with it being a Sunday, most restaurants were closed. Found Wholly Smokin and decided to try it. The restaurant is located downtown Florence and it gives no appeal from the outside. The air was on, and it was hot outside that day, but it was hot in there. Our server was sweating the entire time and she was taking orders so no negative words there. Walking in we had no expectations about the food. Turned out, the food was pretty good!...
