Rude barista today. Unfriendly, unwelcoming!

So excited to visit again but greeted by a thirty foot political banner. Your business, your right to free speech, my right to head over to dead low who has a sweeter space, better prices and significantly better coffee.

The Americano I had was mediocre, my girlfriend's mocha frap was delicious but it was almost $20 for 2 drinks and they gave her a 16oz instead of the 20oz. Additionally, service was disappointing as the barista was having a conversation with a friend while the line built up out the door. It was definitely a little rude but we didn't say anything, just voting with our wallets for next time.

Excellent coffee, bagels, and staff. Family owned and operated business that cares.

Always good! Love the small cafe feel and the espresso is delicious- lots of products and options to choose from, bakery goods, etc.

I came in the first time and got the chocolate croissant and a coffee. The women helping me was so nice, I got my croissant toasted and it was incredible, a bit pricey about $8 per but worth it, my coffee was good, just your average coffee, they do have quite a few flavors! The croissants are large and probably the best I have ever had. I have tried a bunch of places around Charleston and I was so impressed. The next time I came in I brought a few extra to try, I got an almond croissant, strawberry croissant and another chocolate. I shared with my family this time and we each tried a bit of each. The almond is not really my go to, it had a very dry gritty center but still delicious and I still ate it lol the strawberry croissant didn’t even make it home it was AMAZING!!!!! I suggest trying that one first if you are new to the place! I have been back for the strawberry croissant and will be back to try the others ! I would love to know where you guys get them ! 10 stars ⭐️

I always try to support small coffee shops but the coffee was pretty terrible. I got vanilla and marshmallow syrup in mine and it didn’t taste like there was any syrup at all.

Great spot to stop and grab a cup of coffee. It can get extremely busy in the mornings so make sure you account for that! plenty of pastries and drinks to choose from

Supporting local businesses is always a priority for us, and Center Street Coffee is a perfect example of why we prefer locally run coffee shops over big chains. This place is INCREDIBLE!

The matcha latte was amazing, and the food offerings were just as impressive. Even my husband, who is quite the coffee snob, praised their coffee as some of the best he's had.

The service was fantastic, with friendly and welcoming staff making the experience even better. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Center Street Coffee—you won't be disappointed!

Thrilled to see a non-large chain to support locally on the island. The coffee was good, I wouldn’t say amazingly delicious, but yes it was good. The coffee order the first time was slightly wrong with what was ordered, but they corrected it. We kept our next order to a minimum concept just in case. We weren’t greeted upon entering, so it’s not a “welcome to …” vibe; it has a very nonchalant hip coffee vibe. I did not see the cashier gentleman crack a smile once, which seemed odd for a non-chain place. We still plan to be back once or twice more before leaving because the alternative options are limited. Their location has so much potential, I’d love to see them thrive!

5 stars for the delicious feta spinach croissant which was tasty warmed up. It was a great quick dinner. The chocolate croissant was HUGE, but the chocolate quanity inside was a bit sparser than I expected. Honestly though, it was bready and sweet and didn't even need the chocolate to be delicious. Both croissants were quite delicious, and I would buy them again. Also, thank heavens to find a place that sells whole bean coffee! They also sell a few cute pins if you are a pin collector.
