The first day we ate there was great. Katie was our server. Very nice. Meal was 51 dollar. Ten dollar tip . The next day a blonde was our server. Meal was 49 dollars . I gave her a cash tip of 10 dollars. When it posted on my checking account the amount was 61 dollars. Be sure to mark on the tablet if you give cash. A22 dollar tip for a 49 dollar meal is way to much.
The crab legs were succulent, the hush puppies crispy and tender but the highlight was meeting Ron (one of the owners ), and tasting and hearing the story behind the She-Crab soup. You HAVE TO TRY IT!! AMAZING!
The atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food is what keeps me coming back to the Folly Beach Crab Shack! The restaurant is a short walk to and from the beach and satisfies any seafood cravings from fried to steamed. The she crab soup is the best I’ve had from a restaurant and the closest to grandma’s recipe. The blue crab dip makes for an amazing appetizer and you can tell what the secret ingredient is.. love. The staff does a wonderful job at making you feel welcome....
