The dining atmosphere was casual and relaxing. Service was very good, but the Shrimp & Grits was the best my mom and I have had. And we taste shrimp & grits all over the states. We are true southern girls, so this was a real treat. Especially on the charming local Folly Beach, SC!

If you're looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and unforgettable service, Rita's Seaside is the place to be. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed—especially by Priscilla, whose energy and friendliness were absolutely out of this world. She's a true people person and went above and beyond to make our visit special, even helping us purchase four sweatshirts as souvenirs!
The food was amazing—every bite full of flavor and clearly made with care. As if that wasn’t enough, we got to enjoy live music during dinner, which added a perfect touch to an already great evening.
Between the delicious food, the incredible service, and the seaside vibes, I highly recommend Rita’s Seaside. It’s a spot that leaves a lasting impression for all the right reasons.

Rita’s is a staple eatery on the Folly Beach Center St strip right across from the beach. It’s a solid choice for any meal with enough choices to make everyone happy. Our last visit was for dinner and we had the Pork Chop and the Fish & Shrimp Tacos and finished with the Blueberry Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie. Everything was great. Nothing was really exceptional; it was just a solid, tasty, satisfying experience. Service was quick and polite and we had no waiting for a weeknight in October. It can be loud; there was live music on the patio, though we sat indoors. Can’t go wrong with Rita’s!

We had stop here last Thanksgivings day on our move to Florida. This was the only place I could find open and I'm so glad it was the only place we found to eat! Amazing service and oh man was the food good!! We will be back early Nov this year.. can't wait to get some shrimp and grits!

Save your money. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should! Don’t serve crappy food and over charge customers. Just because it’s near the beach, doesn’t make the food taste good!
They also had a dude and a guitar that was SO loud I could hear him from the balcony of my hotel room! He was awful!

We came in close to closing didn’t realize it until the female bartender informed us. We asked what was the easiest for the kitchen to make to which she responded “anything it doesn’t matter you’re here anyways”. Well ignored the rudeness and ordered steak nachos thinking it would be something easy. It was terrible.The steak looked like it was boiled but there wasn’t much of it anyways. When asked about the watermelon on top the female bartender replied “your opinion doesn’t matter anyways now does it” Needless to say we will never be back.

Such a great restaurant!! Ryan was a phenomenal server. Ron Rodger’s gave a hell of a performance. The locals were so nice. They bought us drinks for our bach trip! The food was out of this world. Overall 10/10. Philip the general manager made his rounds and made us feel so welcome. We went back two nights in a row for our Bach trip. Will definitely be back. Huck was great eye candy as well;)
