I visited in March 2024 and was hoping for the pink whip that’s posted in the review pictures and only the yellow pineapple whip (in a cup) was available. However it was super good - cold, sweet, light, and airy.Parking: It’s on the main road into town, so you probably aren’t going to find parking right in front, but ideally you’re parking elsewhere and making a whole day of Folly.

I literally crave this 24/7!!!!! Pineapple hut is the best. Either location is great! The customer service is so nice & wonderful! Love the rotating flavors (hello cherry and pomegranate!!! Omg) And it’s vegan! I just can’t say how much I love this place. I feel lucky to live in a place that has this!! Thank you Pineapple Hut for being one of the greats! And the price point is amazing which is so hard to find these days. You definitely always get your moneys worth!Dietary restrictions: Vegan!!!!
If you come here expecting a hut.There isn't a hut.However, there is some magical Ice cream infused with pineapple bliss, slam dunk, head thrill, rapture just for you.No, it's not a hut. The place is more like a trailer, with wheels and folding window parked in a parking lot.This just adds to the mystique.***** <--- 5 STARS for doing one thing, excessively well.

A little far from where I live but so so worth it!!One of the very few, if not only spot that sells pineapple whip!! It's a food truck located on the main road. And of course they only sell one thing: pineapple whip! But there are some varieties that you can order.I got the 'chunky whip' which has chunks of pineapple in it. Super creamy texture and the pineapple chunks were very sweet! Fast service, and the perfect snack to take it to the beach!

This truck offers pineapple-based dairy-free desserts. There is usually a line despite other desserts in the area. I took the option to get my swirl mixed with chunks of fresh pineapple, which was a good decision. The unmistakable tang makes for a beachy experience. It does melt quickly so you'll be lucky to actually make it to the beach with any dessert still frozen. There were some sauces and sprinkles available, but they were mostly high-fructose corn syrup and didn't impress me. It seemed like there might be a card surcharge, and it was a beachy kind of price, but it's a good option to refresh on the way to or from the beach.

The Pineapple Hut is a great little food truck in Folly Beach that serves up pineapple-flavored dole whip (as well as other flavors) in creative ways! You can even get your dole whip served in a pineapple - check people’s pictures in their reviews!! It’s dairy-free, gluten-free, low-cholesterol, vegan, and it still tastes great!! This means it’s actually very low-calorie, healthy, and a perfect place to take your kids without feeling the guilt of giving them an unhealthy dessert. It’s right off the main road, very reasonably-priced, and totally worth your time. Check this place out next time you’re in Folly Beach!!

If you are visiting Folly Beach, SC don't forget to get your desert/Cool down fix at the Pineapple Hut (truck). It was delicious the pineapple was enough for a family to share. Small cup was $5 and this beautiful frozen pineapple yogurt inside the pineapple was $10 great deal if everyone is ok to share! And looks fabulous! Highly recommend. My kids are keep asking to go back and get it again!

Solid little food cart with pineapple ice cream. Reminds me of the dole whip at Disney. Everybody loved it although the portions were relatively small for the regular, go with the large.

The pineapple soft serve was pretty good but it was REALLY pineapple-y. I imagined it would taste like pineapple, but it was a little too much. Nice and creamy though and the attendant was very nice.
