Woody’s has a typical beach bar vibe. The inside is small and rustic, and they have a large outdoor deck with picnic table seating. We were told to seat ourselves and we ultimately chose to sit outside. We were greeted quickly and gave our order - a couple of beers, a salad and large cheese pizza. The salad was adequate, some romaine, croutons and a packet of Ken’s Caesar dressing. The pizza is a thin NY style, greasy (in a good way lol), foldable piece of pie. Exactly what we were looking for! The porch was great for people watching and the pizza was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Vibe inside is fine. Food was technically pizza. Tasted like cafeteria pizza, dough was full of sugar, cheese and sauce were mediocre. Edible, but that’s about it. Salad was decent. Chicken tasted like it was pre cooked and heated up.

We planned our week trip all year .. we stayed at a nice spot went to a few restaurants took a boat ride out ..what stuck most was woodys and Megan. Awesome food and atmosphere but she was the best ❤️

Appalling Racism from Staff and Patrons Visited on 20/7/25 with my family after a day at the beach. While we were eating, a group of men at the bar began shouting racist and ignorant comments. Shockingly, the bartender didn’t stop them — instead, she escalated things by saying my father might “rape his family.” Absolutely disgusting. My father is a kind, hardworking man, and for a member of staff to speak like this — let alone in response to racist heckling — is horrifying.
This wasn’t just passive tolerance of racism; it was active participation from the staff. It left us feeling unwelcome, and unsafe. The food was decent, but if you are a person of color, I would strongly advise against dining here. This experience shows how deeply racism can still run in parts of Charleston. They are still stuck in their ways in 2025 and it’s unacceptable.

Megan is truly a gem behind the bar! You can tell she genuinely cares about her job and her customers. She’s always attentive, kind, and makes everyone feel welcome. Whether it’s remembering your favorite drink or just checking in with a smile, she goes above and beyond every time.
