I ordered sushi togo for my first time here. A crazy roll and a firecracker roll.
When I opened my togo box, it smelled so horrible!
I think it was the fish eggs on the firecracker roll?
It smelled like rotting feet!
I ended up throwing away both rolls.
Not coming back.

It was my first visit at Takosushi and what I ordered was GREAT! The Firecracker shrimp taco is AMAZING! I ordered the veggie egg rolls, house seasoned rice, & edamame. Egg Rolls were great with the dipping sauce. The rice was good as well. Macy my server was phenomenal! I look forward to another visit soon!

The seaweed salad is amazing. However the first time I ate there the food was good. But the second and last time, I ordered takeout. And the food was hard to eat. It was as if the cook didn't know how to cook the meals. Ingredients was missing from the sushi and the the soft taco shells was so stale it was breaking apart. The first time we had the Jalapeño poppers. The Jalapeño was sliced skinny and long like a fry with no stuffing. And the cream cheese was on the side for dipping. However when we ordered it to go thinking we were ordering the same appetizer (which we got 2 orders of this time). It was whole half of Jalapeños with the cream cheese on the top and fried (and it wasn't spicy). Which I actually preferred and enjoyed the first way. I'm not sure how it supposed to be cooked. But since I'm a stuffed Jalapeño fan I thought it was going to be ok. But it was tasteless, soft and not enjoyable at all. I didn't understand why the stars was low on google prior to. But after tonight, I can understand why.

EDIT: I came in during lunchtime, hoping for some good sushi. The squid salad was really good and tasty, but the roll, I had high hopes for and it really was disappointing, the eel was cold and just laid on top of the rolls. The rolls were really small, not very well structured, and the spicy tuna was underwhelming, not even spicy. Maybe I just ordered the wrong roll but I’ve had better sushi at Sam’s Club. As for service: When I walked in, no one greeted me at the host stand, the server I had was nice at first, she was able to get me extra eel sauce and vinegar but as I closed out my check and got my take out prepared, I went to the restroom to change my daughter and when I came back she threw away my drink, and my packed up takeout box that still had half a roll of sushi left, and then proceeded to give me grief about not tipping on the credit card processor. I wasn’t finished with my restaurant visit and not everyone tips on credit card btw!She proceeded to walk away from me as I was pulling out my wallet to give her a cash tip. All things considered, I don’t think I will ever return here, for a sushi restaurant, it has subpar sushi and way overpriced and the servers are entitled.
Kid-friendliness: I had a place for my stroller, and there’s a diaper changing table available in the restroom!

We were at this location for the first time today. Safe to say we will not be back. They don’t seem to have their stuff together. Nice server, but clearly pretty new. We were there an hour and a half and she only refilled two people’s drinks that asked for them, she never offered. Got a taco delivered to the table five minutes before we left that was ordered with the sushi. My son’s cheese quesadilla came out 15 minutes after our sushi. A sushi roll wasn’t correct and then twenty minutes later didn’t have a replacement, it was like it got put to the back of the line for their mistake. We just canceled the roll. Very slow service and the food was subpar at best. I can name 6 other sushi places to go to in the Columbia area.

I’ve been going to the one on Main Street for a couple of years. I absolutely love it. This takeout from the Forest Dr is extremely disappointing and I paid almost $35 for it. The kids quesadilla was swimming in grease, but before the picture I had soaked the grease up with a paper towel. The asparagus was puny and dried up, unlike Main St. The ramen had very little veggies and flavor. I prefer the beef soup at Egg Roll Chen. This is not the first time I’ve gotten the asparagus from Forest Dr and they have always been dried up.

Wonderful food! Can't get enough of the tempura Asparagus. Nice neighborhood spot that doesn't feel like a franchise.

We went for a late lunch at 2:30 PM and there were only two tables occupied. Despite not being busy, three servers standing around ignored us while we waited to be told to sit. Food was ok, but no soy sauce on the table and a lot of the tables were dirty. It wasn’t welcoming and it felt like the staff just wanted us to leave. I loved going to the location when it was on Assembly St, but this was a complete 180.

The sushi was delicious! The chicken and pork taco taste like they cooked it in water to pull all the flavor out of them. Then served on tortillas covered with garnish to try and hide the non flavorful meat. The chicken literally taste like the can chicken you buy in the store. The service was wonderful. Also had the stir fry noodles with shrimp and chicken. Never have I seen stir fry in a broth. Was okay. Strong paprika flavor. I’d give them a 4 star at best. Only cause the sushi was delicious.

We loved our night out here! Our server Olivia was so personable! She checked up on us each time we received our food and everything was fresh and delicious. The drinks were a little pricey but very good! We will definitely come back!

Went in to try this restaurant for the first time. The ambiance of this establishment is great! For starters I had the firecracker shrimp, and for the entrée I had the Asian stir fry with chicken and shrimp. The entrée also came with two fried asparagus which were delicious.
