Sadie is so kind to me and my family, she was so patient and thoughtful with us. She did a wonderful job flying solo during a busy night. Definitely recommend!

This place has lost its touch. Used to be our favorite spot for sushi. Stopped in and sat at the bar with a friend while I placed a large sushi order to go. The bartender argued with my friend the whole time and then gave her a beer she didn’t order. She ordered pad Thai while we waited. Heard the bartender talking about how the sushi guy quit and his replacement sucked.. as I’m waiting on $100 worth of sushi to go. Not sure what they served her, but it was not pad Thai. Mostly day old noodles doused in soy sauce. Sushi was ok, rice was dry, but nobody got sick. This place needs a reset from top to bottom, a deep clean, better service and more experienced cooks.

i’ve never eaten such nasty vegetable pho before, very stinky and just gross

Great and fast service. Try the yellowtail jaw (hamachi kama), it’s delicious and affordable. Sushi and sashimi here is very fresh as well.

This is the most DISGUSTING restaurant i’ve ever been too! The reviews of it being 5 stars are the staff just so they can stay up and running! The staff is always sitting in the back smoking and goofing off when they should be paying attention to their tables! They have a BAD roach and mouse problem! They always have new people working can’t keep no workers! The bathroom and bar smells like straight sewage and is NASTY! The new management is AWFUL! Definitely recommend taking your money elsewhere!

meal was ok. didn’t know shrinkflation hit their spicy tuna/salmon bowl appetizer with avocado… way smaller than it used to be. used to come in a big square bowl and now just in a small rice dish. not worth $12

Bathrooms are gross/stinky. Need repairs and a deep cleaning.

Food is mediocre; our soup came out cold.
Sushi rolls were fine but not the best I’ve ever had.

Servers were constantly confused as to what food was supposed to go to which table. No one refilled our waters.

Our bill was wrong; they told us it was BOGO sushi rolls and then charged for all of them. I pointed it out so they could fix it, and requested the soup charge be removed since by the time they brought a hot soup out we were halfway through the meal.

On a nice sunny day, sitting outside on the patio could be pleasant if they had fans to keep a breeze going and the bugs away. As it is you just sweat and spend a lot of time batting the flies from your food.

Overall underwhelming and won’t be back again.

I love Akahana! I don't eat sushi, but I always get the lo mein (delicious!) and there's a rice noodle dish that's also very good, I can't remember the name. Everything is very flavorful and the prices are very decent because they give you a lot of food.
