My first time going here. The food was good and the service was very attentive. The only negative thing was that you either had to order from a QR code at the table or go up to the counter. And you had to go separately to the bar to get any alcoholic drinks. With the number of servers that consistently came by to check on us to see if we needed anything, I'm not sure why they couldn't just take our food and drink orders at the table like almost every other restaurant does? Not a big enough of an issue to keep us from returning for the tasty, quality food, but just seems a little odd.

This place looks like a diner. There's a line to order and then you get it. Completely self-service?

We have been multiple times since we started going in 2021. I still give Blue Smokehouse a 4 star rating as they are not quite up there with the best BBQ restaurants, but they can do some things really well.Meats we had this weekend:*Ribs - good standard ribs*Pulled Pork - pork is what I look forward to most at bbq restaurants. We decided to try this one again, and unfortunately no change. It is dry and just doesn't have much flavor. Sauce somewhat helps, but I'm a believer that great bbq does not need sauce.*Honey peach wings - Probably our favorite menu item as they are amazing, and we get them every time.*Brisket Chimichanga - this has a little kick to it since I think they season the brisket, but it is very good! Get it with fries as your side so the cheese melts over into the fries.Meats we have had before:*Beef Ribs - this used to only be offered on Father's Day, but now they offer it on Saturdays. It's pricey, but it is amazing!*Chicken (leg/thigh) - very flavorful and moist. Probably my favorite meat here.*Honey Peach brisket burnt ends - these are amazing!*Brisket - it's good, but we have had better. Definitely really only enjoy it in the chimichanga.Sides we had this weekend:*Corn casserole - this tastes similar to what I make at home, so I of course love this one.*Fries - fresh cut, very good!Sides we have had before:*Mac and cheese - my favorite side dish to get anywhere. Blue's is okay, but it is just that it is on the peppery side. My preference is to have it cheesier than so much pepper. My husband did not mind the pepper though, so he liked it more than me.*Smashed potato salad - this has a different flavor, can't really get what it is that I'm tasting, but it's a serviceable potato salad.*Squash casserole - I'm not sure I even taste the squash as it is so overloaded with egg. It's like a squash quiche. Which I don't mind it, just know it is an eggy casserole.I definitely recommend Blue for some of their items as when they can execute a dish, it is very good! Service has always been great - including being dog friendly on the patio.

The brisket here is absolutley delicious!! Their secret rub is so tasty that we do not need to put any sauce on it. The cornbread casserole is one of my favorites. Must also try the rice bowl! Definitely a must when in the area! Service is always on point.!

I’d never go lower than 2 stars for a local owned business. With that said the food is consistently subpar. I need a steak knife for the brisket and the chicken was dry. Sides were average at best and I’ve been here a couple times now. City, improper pig, and smoke pit are much better options.

We were disappointed with the food we received. The brisket was dry and the ribs were just ok. The acoustics were poor. It was hard to hear the people sitting across the table from us. We had apple cobbler, but it was dry with few apples.

The food is always great. We had the brisket chimichanga and nachos this time. No real wait staff, not sure if that's something they changed, but they are still super friendly.
